The game got started late because of problems with the field. Game was 38-0 at halftime. JV played the entire second half.

Russell quit after a couple of games last year.

Ryle defeated Beechwood last night. Looks like the Semi-finals have Ryle vs. Newport Catholic and ? vs. Holmes

Ryle's game vs. Cov Cath was cancelled due to bad weather. They have not played this year.

I was told last night that Holmes JV was 11-0

Ryle did defeat Dixie Monday night at Ryle. So no the early round games are not on neutral sites. I was told that Dixie had beat Villa Madonna (I think) to advance and play Ryle. Ryle is 10-4 on the season with losses to Conner, Holmes, Tates Creek, and Clark County.

Congrats to CCH on the win last night. They came ready to play and lit up the nets. In the second half they shot 75% while Ryle shot 27%. No reason for Ryle to hang their heads they played hard but sometimes shots just don't fall. Coach Herron did a great job this season leading the Raiders to a 19-5 record. Many of these kids played together at Gray Middle School where they acheived a record of 67-12 over three years. Coach Herron really got these boys to gel together as a team. The future certainly looks bright for Coach Mullins and the Raiders.
