Brewer plays primarily JV from what I'm told not seeing any varsity action as of right now...As for the sophomores yes they have played in the past but the sophomores talent level was about 5th grade hence why they played freshman. I don't agree with it by any means just stating its not an advantage at all for Newport.

Newport by 2-3 TD's

Much closer than I expected a few plays here and there and it could of went either way. The 1st TD Newcath kept the drive alive by converting a 4th and 15 then the 2nd TD was off a blocked punt. If Hesch would of had a decent target last night Newport may of came away with a victory. But anyways could of, should of, would of, congrats Newcath and to Newport keep your heads up you played great.

Zero they've done away with that.

What about all the upgrades that took place at Dixie Heights thats a very nice facility now....My all time favorite would have to be Holmes

Yeah the right thing they did was schedule such a bad team. As ESPNGUY stated earlier their best chance was last year and look what happened. If they win I'll eat crow but that chance isn't very good.

Both I've watched the Lady Rebels play several times. Bradley will now be the super sophomore with a talented TEAM but the 9th region won't be a cake walk by any means.

Who does everyone think is the best QB is in Northern Kentucky? My vote would go for Hesch with Jefferson at a close number 2.

Sophomore running back Marsean Oden had six carries for 110 yards and two receptions for 35 yards. He scored three touchdowns.

I'm not sure on how many times he was actually sacked but the line barely gave him anytime to make a play happen. He was hurried almost every play but with Hesch's quickness he made plays happen. Wilfong looked good but IMO Oden was more impressive.

#2 he ran for all 3 of his TD's but he also lined up at wide receiver a few times.

I wish I could predict a win for the Cats but I have to be realistic. The line is horrific they couldn't hold back Western Hills. The receivers were inconsistent so the bell will be back up on the Hill once again. 39-8 Breds.....

TD's in this game were by Hesch, Wilfong, Oden (3), and Roberts. Sophomore Marsean Oden was very impressive tonight.
