Wednesday - Ryle 14, Covington Catholic 21

 

At halftime it was tied at 14. Ryle shot itself in the foot with all the penalties and turnovers. They gave up a couple of big plays on defense. Ryle moved the ball well though. This group will be good when they get used to playing together.

I heard they moved the HHS and Scott game to a different day...Does anybody know when and where????????

I'm a bit surprised (happily so) by this. It seems that Ryle dominated the scrimmage a few weeks ago. Nice job by the CCH Freddies.

Bracken County did not show up today to play Holy Cross,WHAT HAPPENED????

Does anyone know anything about Dixie's fresh ? Did they play ???:confused:

With a lack of interest in football, Bracken was forced to cancel the rest of their freshman schedule.

Just curious but how many of Newports players were actually Sophmores. It is my understanding that they have done that for a number of years.

Apparently it is standard school practice at Bracken. Their Volleyball team didn't show up this past Saturday to the Lloyd Invit. Tourney they were supposed to be a part of.. Maybe someone needs to give a wakeup call to the AD at Bracken Cty.
