Can someone verify this? JR High and Freshman schedules both cxld?

Reasons?

I can verify that Bracken Co pulled their JR high program out of the Northern Kentucky Middle School Football League. They played their first (and only) game of this season in the league last Saturday and then pulled out. Not sure if they plan to cancel football for the year or just didn't want to play NKY middle schools anymore.

So is that Brewer kid playing?

He is playing, but only on varsity.... Newports Freshman team may have more players than the varsity... Newport usually has just enough freshmen to field a team, or less... Looks like the recent success may have put more interest in the sport

Freshmen Records so far:

3A/4A

Campbell Co. 1-0

Connor 1-0

Cov Cath 1-0

Dixie 1-0

Highlands 1-0

Boone Co. 0-1

Scott 0-1

Simon Kenton 0-1

1A/2A

Who does your team play next week?

Ryle vs. Campbell Co.

Holy Cross vs. Newport at Newport

By the way...HHS frosh over Scott frosh 40 - 0. Thanks for moving the game Scott...classy move!

Anybody know the score of the HHS and Scott game today????? Sorry somebody was reading my mind...

Lloyd plays NCC at home. Good luck coach French and the Frosh. Juggs.

Brewer plays primarily JV from what I'm told not seeing any varsity action as of right now...As for the sophomores yes they have played in the past but the sophomores talent level was about 5th grade hence why they played freshman. I don't agree with it by any means just stating its not an advantage at all for Newport.

Campbell County is 2-0 they beat Grant County last Monday.

Apparently it is standard school practice at Bracken. Their Volleyball team didn't show up this past Saturday to the Lloyd Invit. Tourney they were supposed to be a part of.. Maybe someone needs to give a wakeup call to the AD at Bracken Cty.

Real classy!!

Birds play CovCath at HHS Thur. Always a big game.

Real classy!!

 What do you mean?
