Junior Katie Behrens transferred to Boone County from Holy Cross today. Great addition for the Lady Rebels.

Boone requires that their students live in the BCHS district so , unless her parents already lived in Florence, she'll be eligible immediately.

From my understanding her dad got a new job and they now live in Florence.

No surprise at all. Been the talk all summer in the NKY girls basketball circles. Sorry about your luck their HC. Katie is a very talented and nice young lady, unfortunately, oh nevermind.. Heres hoping Boone Cty can make those around her happy..

Need her??.. They have a pretty talented bunch out there and she will have to earn her playing time with Coach Fookes. With this addition IMO everyone else will be playing for 2nd place in the 9th region.

From what my daughter has told me she will be ineligible this season because they did not move into the district by August 1. She said she can practice but not play this season. Though she could be wrong.
