  3. The he you are refering to is a computer system looking at statewide statistics. Who knows how anything is weighted but every team on that top 25 is dangerous come tourney time.

  5. Don't forget the X factor....My daughter has played in the Regional final the last two years and just as an observer the nervous knot I get in my stomach leading up to the games has been major. I don't know how the players deal with the importance of these games but it will be a factor. Just look into the faces of the losers and winners after the finals and you begin to see just how big of a game it is. Good luck to all who make it to the Regionals and enjoy the ride.
  6. Not sure who will win but it sounds like a great game to watch. Is the game at Ryle or SK? If I have to pick I go with SK by a few.
  7. Highlands gym is small and dark and the fans are close to the floor. They always support their teams vigorously. I have never been to a boys game there but I can't imagine how they do it. If there is a gym that gives a home team a few points it would be Highlands. And that's a compliment.
  8. Let's see, NDA beat Highlands, Highlands beat Conner and Boone, Boone and Conner both beat NDA. Ryle beat Boone. NCC can beat anyone at anytime. I would have to agree with HJoe. A coin flip.
  9. I watched her and the Moss girl at a Villa tourney and was equally impressed. If Ryle holds on to this duo then I suspect there is a Region title in their future.
  10. One with ACL the other with a strain....double blow to SK but both may return. Two very solid players.
  11. I saw the score but who has any details. Nothing in the paper but this. Ryle 69, Ludlow 56 Ryle (15-4) - McLeesh 5 5 15, Jump 4 0 9, Crittendon 10 3 23, Moss 3 2 8, Jennings 4 1 9, Lykes 1 0 3, Marshall 1 0 2. Totals: 28 11 69. Ludlow (15-6) - Landrum 2 0 5, Jones 1 2 5, Turner 1 0 3, Clary 3 2 11, Harden 5 2 12, Ottoway 3 1 7, Daugherty 6 1 13. Totals: 21 8 56. How did Crittendon score 23? Good win for Ryle
  12. Casey County might have a great team but they just don't play anybody to impress these computer rating systems. Good luck and make some noise in the sweet 16 and then everyone will know.
  13. Who's playing and who are you picking to win it all?
  14. Now that is an understatement!

  20. I doubt anyone expects them to beat Conner at Conner especially as banged up as SK is. But it is NKAC ball so you still have to play the game before you put a check in the Win column
  21. I think NDA is ranked high because of who they have played. Assumption twice, Lexington Catholic, Montgomery County, Boone, Highlands, Conner, Simon Kenton. Boone has also played some really tough opponents. No one really knows how the formula works because it is a secret but we do know that it only calculates Ky games and a close loss against a top ranked team seems better than a blow out win of a weak opponent.
  22. I don't think they run the score for the sake of Lit ratings but even their subs are pretty superior players who would start elsewhere and when they get their turn in a blow out they continue to pour it on. Lit also seems to take into consideration strength of schedule and those Louisville and Lexington powerhouses play very tough schedules.
