Walton-Verona Vs. Simon Kenton Predictions

Featured Replies

Even though SK hasn't been playing well, I say they get healthy against the Lady Bearcats on Saturday.

SK by 15. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I'll take SK by 25+. They beat Walton by 32 the first time on Walton's floor.

That is a bold prediction Madman. I think Coach Rosen has her team well rested and ready to go.

I would love to see Walton pull this one out, but SK is a strong team. It is at SK so I think they will win by 8.

Good luck WV though, it would be great for the small schools!

Agreed, and now is the best time to play them. If WV wins and beats Williamstown next week, SK and WV would have a coin toss for the number one seed in the district.

I think Coach Stowers will have his team ready for anything that Walton might give them. Remember, they are undefeated in district play.

and WV only has one loss, to SK. That should be their motivation. I am sure Coach Rosen has been preaching it to the girls all week. WV also has had no games this week. Nothing but time to rest and prepare.

Not having any games is not always a positive. Players get out of their routines, lose their rythem and sharpness. Walton has won 8 out of their last 9 or something like that and having time off could effect their momentum. Coach Rosen may be preaching to the girls but it's hard to forget getting beat by 32 in your house. She may want to try hypnosis.:thumb:

Not sure when the WV lady bearcats last defeated SK, but I doubt anyone on the current roster was on the bench. Might be hard for WV to beat the SK jerseys. but I think 25 is a stretch

And so was the Simon Kenton boy's were till tonight. Anything can happen. And I will go with the Walton girl's by 2. They want this game, and SK hasn't be on top of it's game of late. I look for Hargett to step up big, and other players to shine when SK pulls to Hargett. Look for a big upset!:thumb:

The last time WV beat SK was on Dec. 2, 2002 (44-34). No one on the current roster was on the bench. This is just another plus for SK, none of WV's current players have ever beat SK. SK has the psychological edge and that can play a huge role in who wins and how bad.

There are a lot of differences in this game and the boy's game, in fact the only similarities are the schools and the district records. SK girls will win this game big, I just don't see WV being able to keep up.

SK is struggling but WV will be a get well game for them. No chance at a upset IMO.

Thanks for the ammo!!
