  1. I really think Gallatin will surprise people this year.
  2. . I have seen Fischer playing on a team this summer but no one else.
  3. I tend to agree however the toughness of the guards for Ryle was a question last year and I don't see that changing this year.
  4. Brooke Hill and Tori Wilhoit playing on the same summer team this year and they are rebounding machines.
  5. I think it would be better to wait and let the school make a official announcement.
  6. It's quite funny if it wasn't you that endured the last 2 years.
  7. I hear what you are saying. But you have to remember the ones close to the situation know the kind of things that were going on. The ones not close to the situation do not. Although it may not seem the case, a lot of restraint has been shown by those who are close to the situation by not sharing details.
  8. I just told you it was warranted. I just told you the administration decided to dismiss Coach Luebbe and did a great service to everybody in not going into the reasons for that. The last coach did not earn the support of the parents. Just because your the coach doesn't mean you get a free ride and don't have to earn respect.
  9. Coach Luebbe was dismissed by the administration. It had nothing to do with parents or fans. Did you read anything on BGP about Coach Luebbe before his dismissal. The answer is no. I agree with you that dissastifaction is not kept in a vacuum and you have to be very careful when you speak up to make sure it's warranted, because we both know there are a lot of times when a parent is just dissatisfied because their child is not getting playing time and they try to start something that isn't there. This was much deeper than that and the dissatisfaction was warranted.
  10. Coaches in the past who were knowlegable about the game and put forth their best effort had no problems. If the job is not getting done and I'm not just talking about wins and losses there is no reason a parent/fan can't express their dissatisfaction. If it's in the classroom or the basketball court having high expectations is what great schools and athletic programs are made of.
  11. If they can not deal with passionate fans then my guess would be they need not apply.
  12. I disagree!! As Cats Pride said there is no pattern of a problem here. There was a obvious problem with this coach and the fans spoke up. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It's shows that Walton fans care about what happens at their school. I would much rather have it that way than a bunch of fans with no interest. How is pointing out their is a problem crossing the line. If you have low expectations that's exactly what you get.
  13. If I were a prespective candidate for this job I would be ecstatic about the passion and interest in Girls basketball. You don't find that everywhere.
  14. I agree!! I think a lot of people will be shocked. I hope it works out.
  15. There was a problem or the coach would not have been removed. The problem was that the fans were a year ahead of the administration.
  16. I think the situation was a little tired as well.
