What happened to the coach from this past season?

Scott Collins, assistant at Pendleton, would be a great fit for Walton.

This should be a job that draws alot of interest from a variety of coaches from not only NKY but around the state. Good school system in a growing community.

I just have a couple questions. Won't this be the 3rd coach in about 3 or 4 years at Walton.? Is there more then meets the eye here? Can't imagine this being a difficult place to coach but apparently there seems to be something going on out there. Anyone heard of any names being mentioned for this job?

Here is hoping that they get a good coach who has the support of the administration, community and the respect of the kids on the team.

The coach prior to Rosen had been a Walton for quite a while I'm not sure how long exactly but my guess would be 7 or 8 years.

I would think the Coach at Williamstown would be a great fit.

Yes, and he could bring his daughter with him.

Just heard that she will be going back home after this year. Did anyone really think she had any real future at Walton? An outsider coming into Walton, come on, we all know that don't happen. No head coaching or extensive assistant coaching experience. Why was she hired in the first place? It wasn't because of her experience or track record. The administration had to have a reason for hiring someone so inexperienced and it definitely wasn't to allow her the opportunity to have a long tenure at Walton. They knew what they were doing when they hired her and the future will tell the story. She is really a nice lady with good intentions and I wish her the best.

Good luck to Coach Rosen. She seems like a very nice lady.

Good luck to whomever takes the position as well. They seem to have some talented players returning.

Just saw her at the Northern Kentucky girls High School Basketball Coaches Association Awards Banquet yesterday. Nothing was said then. When was this decided/announced??

Well, I guess you might as well tell everyone what your theory is. Maybe the administration new that there was going to be a shortage on hotdogs and couldn't bear the thought of seeing long lines at the concession stand during the girls games so the figured being mediocre was the answer? Or, maybe there was something deeper and more sinister than we could ever imagine? Or, better yet, maybe they just made a bad choice. Coach Rosen is a very nice person. I just think she was in a little over her head.

I agree. The only thing that rubs the wrong way a little is that anyone who has a clue about basketball could have told you that in the first week. I wish Coach Rosen the best.

So I guess everybody was right all year long about all of the posts on here.

I agree 100%!

Anyone would be better than the past two years!!!
