I've seen this kind of situation before, if they all embrace their roles and work harder together without allowing class (8th grade or senior) to come between them they can achieive something special. They are a team and should work hard to make each other better. It's a good situation when players have to earn their time. As a team they can only go as far as all the members of the team will take them.

I think your on to something madman. I predict they will win the All A. It seems they have put everything behind them are coming around. Good job by the coach and the players to rise above.

And probably their parents are working also! Today's weather was not a dusting of snow for a teenager to be driving in. If you noticed Kenton County Schools were closed today because of the weather!!

I didn't see the coach brought up anywhere in my post.

I have heard that the open gyms they have had in the past are unorganized and really not worth attending. Freshman don't drive so a parent probably had to take her to practice. Most of the upper classman probably drive and are not going to risk it in bad weather to play a game of knockout.

Well said! I think your right. Given the situation the only positive thing that can be done is to give support to both the coach and the players. The more I read (even my own comments on the subject) the more I realize that we are dealing with people here just not coaches and players. This situation needs some light not more darkness. My personal pledge is to be a positive force whenever and wherever I can for these PEOPLE! I would ask all of you who can to do likewise.
