Your right Bleachercreature. The NDA Frosh had the game in hand and almost let it slip with a last second foul but all turned out well. I thought the NDA Frosh outplayed SK the whole way. (Refs called a decent game both ways) The JV last second shot to win was too good. Both squads are playing solid ball right now.

Ponzer girl hit some nice shots from all over the court, Connelly hit threes from way beyond the arch. NDA spent a lot of time at the line which extended the playing time in the fourth. Stowers sat through most of the game with little or no outburst, a little odd from recent games i've seen him coach. Who knows what happened at half but they (SK) came out flat and NDA stepped up the D. Good game with solid runs from both teams.

I think 41-10 may have been Freshmen. NDA had their point guard this game Odonnell and Highlands didn't have Natalie Horner play for them. Highlands jumped out to early lead but from midway in the second quarter till the end it was pretty well a bucket apart. Fun game to watch.

If I were either team I wouldn't even dream of showing my strategy for the regional games. Play hard nosed half court and consider it a warm up. If you tell the team it is a must win and lose then you may very well have a problem when it counts. And as always good luck to both teams.

Game played at Simon Kenton with 8th region refs. Pretty neutral with nice fan support from both teams.

If Mason County hasn't done their homework Highlands will win. Highlands can and will beat you from many different angles. On the other side everyone knows who the go to Mason players are. I would expect a very good, close game but I give the nod to my friends at Highlands.
