3ptshooter, our 9th region refs will call the games as they see them. I have never seen the 9th region refs homer anyone. Nor would I want them to. I am not sure what happened at Russell but I bet some of their fans may weigh in on your extremely strong statements but I must admit that 43 to 16 is a very lopsided foul tally. How did Nell deal with the refs?

Russell is now 15-1 and hasn't appeared in the state rating of top teams. Anyone know why?

NDA, Boone and Highlands all have very impressive freshman teams. Are there any other tournaments where they may square off to determine the best?

29 point performance by NDA's Nicole Dickman in this "big" game situation was tremendous. Congrats to her on a great game and displaying a whole bunch of poise under pressure.

Nice win by the NDA freshman against a strong undefeated Highland team.

Anyone who thinks Jacy wouldn't be the point guard on this team simply doesn't know basketball. Very, very talented and a very very savy player. I would hate to be a point guard freshman behind a talented player like her.

NDA at 9 and 1 with Seton, Ursuline, Montgomery County, Assumption, Rockcastle, undefeated Simon Kenton and Boone in the first ten games. This is an AWESOME record. Congrats to Coach Darpel and her Pandas. Great comeback by Boone in what all have to admit is an evenly matched pair of teams. Makes for a great 9th region and for me keeps it very interesting. And lets not discount the other 9th region contenders. To all observers, come out and see these two fine teams and lets get one of them to have a strong showing at State regardless of who it is. Games like these make both teams stronger and better and is exactly what each of them needs at this early stage of the season.

Bottom line is come out to Boone County or NDA gym over the next four days for some great basketball action.

She was at the Rick Bolus camp in July. Lists her as 6' Soph living in Ft Walton Beach Fl.

She is playing and giving it 110%. No quit in this girl or any other HC kids. They are all young and should be strong in the next few years. The game was over after one quarter but they all played hard until the final buzzer. Plus the crowd cheered each and every basket they made. Good loyal fans at HC for sure.

Casey loved Villa as a grade schooler 1-8 and she loves NDA as her high school 9-12. I bet everyone almost everyone playing in the KHSAA is a transfer by these standards. Thanks for using names Cooty or should I call you by name?

Behrens will help Boone and she now lives in the school district so it appears no one can alter the inevitable. Boone will also have a target on them this year just as NDA did last year. I doubt this will help Boone become a top ten or even guanentee they will make it to state. Nell is a good coach with good players so the pressure will be on this team to perform and that is not always the best scenario. Good luck Katie, good luck Boone County but better luck to the rest of the 9th region in pursuit of this front runner.

Just be real, no one moves residence for a local job. It is high school ball so let the best team win. People do what is best for their daughter and it is what it is. It will make everyone else want to beat them a little more.
