Theoldguy Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Congratulation to Coach Fookes and her young Lady Rebels on a great game tonight. Good luck in the sweet sixteen and bring back that Championship to the Ninth Region.......
cshs81 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Not surprised by the Boone victory but the margin is more than a bit disappointing.
Andtheheadcoach Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 NDA just did not look like they were focused after the Drees over and back error. From that point on, it seemed that Boone was always in control.
Gunner11 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Wow the margin of victory is surprising. I figured it would be much tighter affair with NDA coming out on top. Congrats to BC.
nptwildcat Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Notre Dame didnt come to play tonight they weren't focused at all they acted as if they already had the game won since they were the favorite. On to more important matters congrats to Nell Fookes and the Lady Rebels and good luck down state.
Ironlung Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Absolutely amazing! One senior on the squad and the tourney MVP is a freshman! Nell Fookes continues to weave her magic. If she's not the best girl's coach in the region, I don't know who is! Congratulations to the Rebels and good luck at WKU!
Crossbar Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 5/21 in the first half for 13 points will not win you ball games. Somewhat of a late surge to score like 8 points, which isn't much. Boone controlled this game, and NDA shot themselves in the foot. Good luck BC at Diddle.
Old School Dawg Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Absolutely amazing! One senior on the squad and the tourney MVP is a freshman! Nell Fookes continues to weave her magic. If she's not the best girl's coach in the region, I don't know who is! Congratulations to the Rebels and good luck at WKU! I would put her up there with anyone in this state! This may have been her best job ever! Note to the Panda's:championships are won on the floor.
ShortDad Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Boone shows what the youngsters can do!!! By the way... I am not a Boone parent...but love to see these girls get the recognition they deserve. Bradley is MVP .....the whole package!!! Represent our region well!!!!!
CoachK Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Congratulations to Boone!! Great Job Jacy! Shows you were aau ball has brought the high school game, Boone is loaded with aau talent , they will be fun to watch the next 3 yrs.
cootyb25 Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 great job BC. Just shows what good hard defense will do for you. I would like to mention one player who did not make the all region tournament team. She does all the grunt work holding off the bigger players and setting the high and low screens while being out sized every game. She is probably one of the most athletic girls in the region and works her tail off every game. Congrats Meredith Reed way to work. Jackie keep your head up those shots will be falling for u down state just wait and see, you keep playing hard.
Mustang Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Absolutely amazing! Nell Fookes continues to weave her magic. If she's not the best girl's coach in the region, I don't know who is! Congratulations to the Rebels and good luck at WKU! And has been since the early 80's!!! :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:
Mustang Posted March 15, 2006 Posted March 15, 2006 Boone County and Montgomery County will be a whale of a first round ballgame. Montgomery dominated in all facets of the game last night in defeating the Bishop Brossart Lady Mustangs.
