This is the second game of the Rebel Bowl.

Boyle County is coming off of a win over Lexington Christian Academy. Boyle was led by first year starter Baylor Murphy who went 19-21 for 251 yards and 3 TDs and was named Offensive MVP of the Raffertys Bowl. Demauriah Brown carried the ball for 120 and 2 TDs. Geo Brown led the way through the air with 4 catches for 113 yards and a TD. Mr. do it all Montavin Quisenberry was quiet on the night but still garnered a lot of offensive attention that helped open the way up for the other guys to step up. Him and Seneca Driver both had highlight worthy one handed snags as well. Brock Driver led the way on the defensive side of the ball winning Defensive MVP and holding a LCA squad to 233 yards. 

Bryan Station faced a setback to Trinity 28-10, but played them better than they did in both meetings last year. Kalen "Jaws" Washington led the way on the ground with 18 carries for 122 yards and a TD. They also managed to have a goal line stand at the end to keep Trinity from punching in another one. Coach Hawkins said after the game he felt like there was a lot good to take away from the game. 

Does Boyle go 2-0? Does Station avoid the 0-2 start for the third straight season? Who wins and why?

I think this one is tighter than LCA. 

19-21 for 251 and 3 TDs.  Those are great numbers!  Boyle awfully tough at home (or anywhere really, but moreso at home).

Wow, BS opens up with Trinity and Boyle County?  They ain’t dodging anybody.

I'll go with Boyle County by 14. 

Bryan Station definitely matches up better athletically with Boyle than LCA did but I question the big boys up front a little. I think the Station defense will be able to hold up enough but not sure if they’ll get enough points on the board to win it.

Add the defending 5A state champs to that list as well.

Bryan station either needs to find a way to get their passing attack going or they will need to really control the clock with their run game, But even then Boyle doesn't need much time to get points on the board. The station Oline should have an easier time with Boyle's Dline than they did with Trinity's Dline. But it's hard to see Station coming out on top in this one.

I thought this would be a tough game and I was giving a nod to Station but I now have to go with Boyle

Boyle County likely gets a stiffer challenge against Bryan Station but I believe the Rebels win.

I thought Boyle played a little sloppy and will need to clean that up.  Mental letdown starting the second half on defense and way to many penalties and yet was 1 TD from a running clock in the 4Q at 35-6.  I thought the new guys Murphy, S. Driver, Hager, and the big guy #74 DT,  play really well. 

The Louisiana transfer should be able to suite up for this game.  Hearing big things from him.
