The Golden Eagles come to Kroger Field to take on the Cats in the season opener on Saturday evening Aug. 31 with a strange 7:45pm kickoff the game is on the SEC Network. This is a good game to get off on the right track for what will be a very challenging season for Coach Stoops and the Wildcats.

Kentucky 45-7.

Kentucky needs to come out and execute on both sides of the ball. Don't allow them to hang around. Hopefully last years early season drops don’t reappear and the line is improved on offense. 

On defense I'd like to see some pressure, especially in passing downs. Struggled on third down all season last year, I'd like to start this year off better and get some QB pressure. 

Cats by 17 in the opener. 

Seeing other power conference teams blowing out their opening cupcakes, makes me even more concerned if UK can't come out and do the same today.
