Lloyd vs Scott: Eagles get first win of the year?

Featured Replies

Scott dropped a close one to 1A Holy Cross 24-21 while 2A Lloyd took one one the chin for the second year in a row versus 4A Simon Kenton.

I think Scott wins a real close one.

Can the Eagles get a W after their close loss, or will the Juggs rebound and knock off a 4A school?

Predictions?

Lloyd in a close ugly game.

Scott wins Big ! 28-3:jump:

Eagles will play this one tough. There is alot of talent on this team and alot of heart.I take the eagles by four tds. Go eagles

Lloyd will not go down without a fight, but they just seem so small out there on the field compared to what they've had in the past. Coach Lucas will have the Juggs ready for a battle. Scott sees another close game. Can't call this one though. Too close.

After the Eagles had their 1st win in reach last week and let it slip out of their grasp they will capture it this week. Scott by 2 TD's.

Scott should win this one. Wow, don't think I've said that....well.....ever. That being said, Scott should have won last week, and they should have been better than they have been over the last 25 years. Shoulda, woulda, coulda......I don't know who'll win, but I know it'll be ugly.

The Juggs are very small compared to years in past however, this group of young men have a great attitude and know they will be an under dog in almost every game this year. They only have a few seniors and will only get better as the season goes on. I myself like the Juggs in a close one in the end maybe on a field goal. JD

What has happened to the Lloyd football program in the past few years? For that matter what has happened with their entire athletic program recently? Just seems to me as an outsider that a once proud school with a great deal of athletic tradition has lost some of its luster in the past 5-10 years..Maybe I'm wrong..

Lloyd 21 Scott 7

I will have to go with Scott in this one. 21-7

BIGZIG, I really can not put my hand on it. I will say that when this group was in NKYFL for Lions they only had a couple of kids that were 12 and the rest were 11 years old. This is why Lloyd has only a few seniors this year. For your post regarding been down 5 - 10 years. Last year was the first time in 5 years Lloyd did not post a winning season and still made the playoffs. I think the reason Lloyd is down is kids are not playing sports and would rather be in doors playing computer games. This is the first year in a long time that the Lions Pee Wee program has 190 kids playing this year. We usually struggel to have a Senior team and we have close to 47 kids in Seniors. The Freshmen team has posted several winning seasons the past five years. Sorry for rambling this is about LLoyd vs Scott. JD
