Pat Forde article on O.J. Mayo. Good comments about the Huntington kids, but very nice words about Mackey, Walls, etc. and the Scott County Cardinals.

One of the few good Forde articles....

OJ shoots 30 shots in the game with Scott County and Patterson shoots 8:confused:

The Scott County kids deserved the recognition. Mackey, Walls and others are big time players. They played a very emotional game without being a showboat and went about things in a workmanlike fashion. That is a credit to the character of the kids and a great coaching staff. It was a pleasure to watch them play.

Do you say this because he's part of the anti-UK conspiracy?

From what I hear about Patterson, eight shots may be more than what he needs.

Explain? I think he does a nice job.

Just never been a fan. I dont like his articles or the way he writes for the most part. He's not particularly entertaining like Doyel, and doesnt have a special writing style. I can handle his anti-UK rants, its his constant homering that would tend to grate at me more than that.

I agree, don't like alot of his stuff.

Huh? If you ever seen Patterson play you would honestly say that he needs the ball mor than he gets it. Ask anyone who knows anything about basketball who seen the game Friday night and they will agree.

I've been told he can't shoot a lick from a reliable source.

The immortal Coach K, Tubby, etc, must think otherwise.

But what he can do is put the ball in the hole when he is at the basket. And thats how deep he was posted up a few times. Even though Scott Co did do a good job having help on him all night.

I personnaly can't wait for this kid to go to college, then maybe people will shut up and leave him alone.
