Is he in college?

I saw him play last year against Dayton Dunbar (and Daquean Cook, who now plays for Ohio State).

I just googled his name and found a site that says he's in prep school.

 

His college choices are as follows. I must admit I am shocked at how high profile they are...

UConn

Indiana

Kentucky

Louisville

Michigan

Pitt

Seton Hall

Xavier

Those would be my college choices as well. I guess the question would be if the interest is reciprocal.

Herky is pretty good and always has been. Newport would have had as much talent as Holmes had he stayed there.

Herky is a teammate of Marshall Moses.

Herky is Div 1 material and should be playing at that level soon.

Am I the only one who doesn't think Herky will be a bigtime D1 player? He's been hyped up since he was in 7th or 8th grade, but I've never been too impressed with him. He's a good player, but I don't think any of the schools listed above (with the exception of maybe 1 or 2) would be too interested in him.

 

It doesn't hurt that he plays (played?) AAU with OJ Mayo, Walker and company.

What school is he attending now? You say a prep school, were is he attending? Thanks to all for the replies, I was just wondering if he was playing ball. Hopefully he will attend college.

He played with the D1 greyhounds and has gotten plenty of recognition from colleges coaches at the D1 level so I am sure someone will take a chance with him. Nobody is saying he is going to be an NBA lottery pick. I just think he has the tools to play D1. Miami University or a Xavier would be a good school for him. Maybe not Duke or Florida.

Last I heard Herky was attending Patterson Prep School in Lenoir, North Carolina. He is a big time player and will eventually go D1.

Herky has a very high upside as well. He's very athletic and he's a very good ball handler.
