  1. Glad its over, no finishers, no one to play over the rim. Thought Buckles can really improve and be a player, he will mix it up. Pitino can't get the players that is needed to take this team were fans would like to go, and he is going to open the next season with Duke.
  2. Maysville's old gym had some great games in it, I think someone still plays there, and old Paris Western.
  3. I had a chance to see him recently in Lex, he is really a very fine player and I do agree, he is strong, I also liked the point guard, they have a really nice team. Watts has really shot the ball well, really smooth, and a killer cross-over dribble, hope to see them in Rupp, good luck.
  4. Surprised again in Pitino, he didn't seem to have a plan for the 1-3-1 that WVU threw at them late and what seemed to have turned the game, he can't seem to help get them over the hump.
  5. Have not had a chance to see him play, how is his game rounded out. I know he has a man sized heart, really good kid. He stays healthy he and his team should have a good season. Hope to get to see him in Nicholasville if they play someone there.
  6. Kentucky has really put the pressure on the coach of Louisville, Pitino did not get any recruits the are above the rim players, maybe his situation during the summer hurt, who knows, but his recruiting for the replacement of Clark has been nothing. I think he can't get what he wants or needs anymore.
  7. Didn't get to make it to the game, but was listening to it on the radio driving home from the hospital, didn't hear Hall's name called any in the first quarter much at all, he gets started earlier in the first quarter FC wins by a dozen and he could have scored fifty, he is physically too strong for most any opponent he will face.
  8. Good start, understand they have some good leadership on this team. How is the Craig kid running the ball? He should be a brut on offense and defense.
  9. I have been told to use listerine diluted with water, apply with a mist and this is suppose to work well to keep them off.
  10. The Hicks kid is very good, and has some great experience at an early age, would he be looking North if the group he will playing with has good young players, and can be more competitvie for several of his years at North? This kid continues to improve and progress it wouldn't be too surprising if he were to make a Rondo move?
  11. Just saw this, hard to take, never heard anything bad about him.
  12. Congrats TB, I know you will do a great job at Berea as you have Paris High, you certainly have earned this opportunity.
  13. Sure, he has done his time, move on. Hope he keeps his nose clean.
  14. Will Aaron Watts be able to play in the opening round?
  15. How is DC, is his injury healed? Good win CC.
  16. Didn't this game have the lights go out on a pop fly the would have ended the game?
  17. The freshman pitcher for WC was pretty impressive, had several pitches, one that looked like a sinker and had it working a little. I was very surprised by the outcome, Hills has had an emotional week as they were rallying around one of their players I would think. Had a real season.
  18. Chicken liver and crawlers are very good, but if you want to stay away from the mess that comes with them, try some soft craws and/or the largest leeches you can find or buy, leeches should be showing up soon at a bait shop near you.
  19. They have had winning records, they don't have the numbers to win, players are playing both sides of the ball, it catches up with you at some point, as I feel it has with FHS in football, and they have had some superb atheletes, and have some now, as for basketball, kids play other sports and that kills your nucleus at FHS, plus you are in the mighty 11th region, you aren't given any passes.
  20. You are certainly correct about GRC being loaded for a few more years. Paris could be very competitive in the years to come if you can get the kids to come out again, alot of talent still around. The right coach has to be there for the program to come back. There isn't much going on during the summer with AAU, Juan knows the importance of getting the young players involved early, and it would take him to get them out, it has been working for Terrence and the girls program. Juan is capable and qualified, I hope they give him the opportunity.
  21. I don't know much at all about Geoff Cody, probably a very good candidate, but I think Juan would be a much better fit for the conditions at PHS, and would be such a plus for the community. He did a very good job at FHS, and I believe he was the coach of the year that year. The area still has some talent, but not alot of interest over the past few years, Juan could bring it back.
