  1. Franklin County players and coaches have to continue adapting to the style, pace, and toughness of the 11th region. They showed great improvement against SC in the regionals. They may not be the best, and certainly will never be considered as so until they prove it. They will be and/or should be a good team. They showed alot of growth late in the season. Keep working hard you Rodneys of the 11th region. Good things often come to those who in this case, work the hardest.
  2. If WH can withstand the pressure they have good size, Satterwhite may have to put up good numbers of course, J. Van and Hyatt the same. Control the tempo and the press Reed. Good luck Hills.
  3. You could always use the standings of the regionals, seed accordingly.
  4. Congrats to FC, they really wanted it. Both teams played hard. Some big shots were made by both teams. Played at the Convention Center, nice atmosphere. Good luck to FC and WH.
  5. These are just three of a number of players that should have gone to college from the Paris football program, speed and size, they had it. Manzell Robinson-Paris Donnie Watkins-Paris Herman Hutsell Jr.-Paris
  6. 1. Funkadelics 2. Guess Who 3. 4 Tops
  7. How is the health of Watts an Co.? Are they healthy? Haven't seen him in some time but can remember him as being sturdy built. What is his height now? Kid seems to be some kind of a scorer. Hope they make it to Rupp, it would be good exposure for them. Good luck to the Raiders.
  8. Do the Colonels have much of a chance in this one, were is the district being played?
  9. Good week indeed. Flyers showing some mental toughness and no quit. Could have folded tent in both these last two games. The BIG OAK showed some great emotion after a key play late in the game, it was great. I thought it was a very good move when Hicks, and his quickness, was placed on Sparks, seem to slow him down just enough. I cannot agree with you more about the confidence factor. I am really liking that high screen.
  10. I think more than likely it will be a tag team effort, but I would think FC's #11 will get the early assignment, probably the best inside player FC has faced. Step up game without a doubt.
  11. I have seen them both, what a game to watch, but I think in the end it will be BS, especially if Mack continues his high level of play. BS supporting cast isn't bad, Station by 12.
  12. Bryan Station. They are very deep, super athletic, and very unselfish with a very underrated go-to guy. maybe Mr Basketball. 32 minutes of Hell. They could have a lull, but at this point they are playing awfully well.
  13. Good Luck Panthers. Take advantage of this opportunity, let your talent rise to the top.
  14. Among all the other positives of FC, I have really been impressed with the two guys doing the kicking, they seem to have the confidence, good to know you have the kicking game.
  15. He gave up something that he loved for a period of time for what he believed in, we could use someone like that now actually.
  16. It must have been a tough year for Coach Byars, teaching in one town and driving to Frankfort to conduct practices etc. He has done what he had to do to get a shot at coaching in Ky. I doubt if he was expected to do as well as he has done, he has done a great job at motivating the players that he has. He has also lost a couple that could have helped him. With his style and knowledge of the game I can only hope that he, as a young coach, will get his shot at a larger school that can reload with talent year in and out. He will do well if given a chance, thanks FHS. But he coaches like he really likes FHS. Good Luck in the regionals.
  17. Who is this kid? I have been reading things about him on the threads, is he the player that has been injured? Is he back to form. How big is he,and what position does he play? Sounds like a very nice player.
  18. The officiating was very poor especially during the end of regulation and O/T. A questionable call near half court that was clled over and back, another during a loose ball under FHS's basket that was called a held ball, and the roll over. FHS was not able to absorb these calls, but the effort was something special from both of these teams. They wanted it very badly, it was evident on a loose ball, and there had to have been 7,8, or nine players all in a heap after it. I feel really bad for Zed, he was injured early in the game, couldn't go, and the FHS players found a little something extra to stay in it, they dug deep and even led at times. Mike Satterwhite, in my opinion, changed the game for WHHS, made some big shots, grabbed some big rebounds. It was a great game to watch. I wish there wasn't those questionable calls, you hate it for the players, but the WHHS player did make a tough shot to win it. Good luck to both teams in the regional.
  19. I give FHS coaching staff and those players a great deal of credit, I wish I could give ours the same, but I cannot, You are right, I am a parent that is Word Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter ViolationWord Filter Violationed, and you should know exactly why if you are ever at a game. FHS will always be the toughest at this time of year, they all play football, we didn't respect them, and got what we deserve. Our coaching staff will not change, maybe a gigantic ego or something, maybe I am listening to too many coaches in the stands. I do know one thing, a leopard never changes its spots. Maybe we will win the district one of these years, it hasn't been due to lack of talent that we've not won the past three years.
  20. You know, i t would be great if you could take him back, but yes since he has been here he has been concerned with the folks in the stands. I hope you never come to FC. He has never done what was right. If he had we would have won that game, the district, the district last year, and the year before, if it was in him to do what's right. We have, or some have, suffered at Waterloo AGAIN.
  21. Sorry, I do apoligize if what you may have seen over the course of the season does not bother you, I would only hope that you could be more sensitive to others conditions that seem to persist at FC, stand approval, I mean looking into the stands to see who needs to play or not to play. We coulda and shoulda won the game, but you got to coach to win, and that didn't happen. not surprising, its happened before. This is the mighty 11th, you got to put the best product on the floor as much as you can to have a chance. But for 15 seconds the overall complexion of what was on the floor wasn't looking right and it quickly changed. We still have a quota here at FC. You never know what that line-up might have done. We may come out of the dark ages, but I truly doubt it.
  22. Great job Coach Byars, a lot of people are very proud of you. It was a great game. Sorry for boubting that you and your boys could pull this off. E.J. was a monster on the boards tonight. It was obvious you were working hard. Never once did I notice you look to the stands for approval, you just coached like you knew how. FC had a situation last night that few had never seen, it only lasted for maybe ten seconds, once FC noticed the mistake it had made and changed it all up, but this would have been interesting to see how it played out. Couldn't have been any worse. That's still the mentallity of the COUNTY, no approval from the stands, this was over. Coach Byars you did a great job with your 7-8 players. Good luck to you and your boys. FC has a lot of work to do in the hopefully near future, there are still second class citizens at FC, unbelievable.
