I feel the most flagrant of dirty plays is the use of the elbow by a player clearing space to dribble. Many times this happens and you get different calls from the officials, offensive foul would be my guess, especially since the contact was made by the player with the ball to get an advantage. This is the one play that a player should be ejected from the game. Usually this doesn't seem accidental.

I agree that this is going to be a real test w/o two key players, this we know, but I do think FC will come to play. This is a great opportunity for other players to step up to this challenge, and there are some others that could fill in. Biggest concern will be staying out of foul trouble for the Flyers, the best is still yet to come. Who couldn't get up for a game like this? -
If I am not mistaken the record for Franklin County is 9-2, rather than 9-3.

These were just some of the players, always has lots of talent there, the attitudes of the kids in Paris have certainly changed over the years, the Dirt Bowl in Paris seems to never have kids on it playing ball. There is still talent in the town, but the kids don't seem to come out for the teams, football included. Coach Barr has endured. -

Upsets do happen, but they may want to get a little more physical on the boards, and hit a few more free throws. -

Didn't know that this exit for middle schoolers. What was the criteria for selection? I understand there is a kid from Elkhorn Middle that seemed to be very talented, was wondering if he was looked at to participate. Great exposure for this age group. -
Louisville will have a long season w/o a real post player, players too young and small in the post for the Big East.

Does these rankings go on who should have won or who actually won the game? FC did beat MC, fact, If FC had shot better it would have been a larger margin, from the rebound margin it was certainly an indication MC may have been fortunate losing by one. I would say FC is better. I know, rebounds do not get any attention, on points. -

Hate to hear Rick will be leaving, spoke to him recently and he certainly cares. He was getting the program back, its takes time. Good luck, you were in deep. -
I wouldn't blame Tubby if he is thinking about Arizona, beats ice fishing. I would love to have him at Louisville.

They are a machine, as good at doing what they do best better than any other team I have seen. Seem to never stop coming at you. They play defense very well to be such a good offensive team. Seem to never miss the open man, amazing team to watch. Unless someone puts an invisible lid on the rims at Rupp, they could win it all.

I agree it is great for the kids to get another chance to show their talents, I would be most concerned with the chance of injury in that the season has been over for a few weeks and now these kids that have been playing basketball have to start it back up with football. It will or should require some type of conditioning to prepare, my concern is injury. Its a great honor, but if it was played after the last playoffs maybe that could be a compromise for all.

U.K. vs. Louisville / thoughts and predictions
Hard Court replied to oldrambler's topic in College Basketball
Ky by eight, more physical on the boards. No one to stop Meeks. -
Louisville is back to playing the post position with an undersized player, badly miss a 6'10 Padgett type. Samuels very ineffective today, could be a long Big East season. Kentucky will probably drill them.

Thoughts and prayers to Demarco and his family from Frankfort. -
Its no problem, maybe the next pitch, the pitcher catches the bat that just happen to slip from the batter's hands.

Hope they got the needed rest after game with UT, Card by 7.

Thanks for the report, I have been told this is a good area for walleye fishing. You had a few nice ones. This is the area off of 25E?
-
How was the walleye fishing, was the water conditions okay?

Not a bad situation, hopefully the knowledge and the name will help with the recruitment of good students who want to play football. Football hasn't been good since Smalls left. Don't know how long he will stay, but hopefully long enough to get things back on track. Maybe D-1 is in the future plans?

I thought it was a very good show, good to know the history. Its good for the kids as well to know some of the plight being faced by some, but it was the piece on Bob Love that touched me the most, his handicap, and how he has overcome. It really changed his life until he found help. Very good show.
