Congratulations to the Panthers on their season, good luck in the future to Coach Byars and the rest of the team. Thanks to seniors Eric Smith, Josh Smith, Zed Smith, Antoine Robinson and Cameron Jouett for their dedication and hard work. Go Panthers! -
Congratulations to E.J. I hope he works hard this summer to get ready for that senior year. Very nice youg man with a nice family. Hey Buckett, what is the latest on Antoine Robinson and his college future?

Both teams need to be commended on playing an excellent game, class was shown by all of the coaches and players for both teams. Good Luck to Hills tonight, good luck to Frankfort tomorrow night against Scott County. -

I agree with this statement. As far as the FCHS fans are concerned, you are right with them learning a little about class. Case in point, I sat on the Woodford County side during the tournament, and one Franklin County parent in particular heckled a certain Panther player during both games, very immature IMO. Of course that player showed discipline, maturity and never acknowledged those comments, he stayed in control, that my friends is what is known as CLASS. -

Coach Byars has done a wonderful job with the Panther basketball program and I certainly hope he will be there next year. Good Luck in the regionals. Congratulations to all the players. -
Hills won the first time the 2 teams met, Frankfort the 2nd time. For this district championship, who will win and why? My prediction is that the Panthers will win by 10.

Congratulations to Coach Byars and the Panthers. The seniors came together last night and were on a mission to beat the Flyers. As I mentioned earlier in the season, everyone needed to be patient with the team as they learn a new system, also this is the 3rd coach in 4 years for the seniors. Zed Smith had a great game, along with Cameron Jouett, who sat out most of the game with foul trouble, but came back in, during the 4th quarter to led the Panthers. Good job Panthers, thanks to the rest of the seniors, Eric Smith, Josh Smith and Antoine Robinson for hanging tough thru those rough times. Coach Byars, thanks for the great job that you have done!!!!!!!! -
As the season starts to wind down, how do you think the Panther basketball program has progressed? I've seen a few games and they have shown some improvement.

Frankfort High Panthers will definitely miss Antoine Robinson, Cameron Jouett and Josh Smith -
What vacancies exist on the coaching staff? Has that information been made public? I hope the Panthers can overcome any problems that may be forthcoming, good luck for the 2007 season.

I agree that having 3 coaches in 4 years is difficult for any athlete, professional, collegiate, but especially high school kids. Those athletes should be commended for not giving up and staying with the program. We as adults in our profession, how we would adapt if we had 3 different managers/supervisors in 4 years at our jobs, could we readily adapt to their thinking process and their "vision"? Good Luck to the Panthers, stay strong and hang in there this season. Thank you to the seniors: Eric Smith, Zed Smith, Josh Smith, Antoine Robinson and Cameron Jouett for being positive and continuing your basketball careers at FHS. -

New coach, new system and this is the first time the starting 5 has been on the floor together for any amount of time. This is only the 2nd game of the season, let's show some patience please and support the FHS Panthers.
