How is sophmore Barrett Meyer playing for the Flyers?

Barrett had 13 tonight to lead them in scoring. He started slow, but has started knocking down shots the last two games(13 vs. Frankfort and 16 vs. Boyle County).

I am betting that Frankfort gets a heavy dose of rebounding tomorrow after school...Franklin County can sure shoot the 3!

They need a heavy dose of an offense. The didn't run anything. It appeared to be the first man to see daylight, let it fly.

Frankfort just didn't put towards the effort... I hate the way they play they don't dribble the ball up there court they rather attempt to pass the ball up... that that cool but when you have one ball handler on the team just have him bring it up...I don't know what the Starters did but he took them out mid second quarter and didn't put em back in till 3rd Qt. that when FCHS went on their run...

I heard the FHS offense was quite the joke, I wish FHS luck the rest of the season except against FC. Do Robinson, Fields, Smith, Wells, morgan, and smith all play basketball? THat should be enough speed and talent to keep things respectible.

I think so... it may just be the style of the coaches play.. but who knows That me be Frankfort's biggest problem they have athletes... and not ball players.

Lets not forget FHS coach was mad about the effoprt he was getting pulled the starters with 6:30 to go in the second quarter and they didnt see any more action until the 3rd. That led to a big halftime lead.

As he should have been as FCHS second team outplayed Frankfort's first team.

 

I do think Frankfort is and will be a much better team than they showed last night. They have athletes and really all they lost from last year was Anderson. Granted he was a big part of their team, I do beleive they have the talent and experience to turn things around.

Meyers for FC is a Soph and I think is the real deal. His shooting is his strength, as well as BBall IQ. When he gets hot dificult to stop, hope that FC is giving him the minutes...
