Walls and Mackey did not play the 2nd half at all.

Good game from Tyler Portwood and Jordan Lee on the boards. They were flying around tonight.

Jordan Adams also played a nice game off the bench.

Scott was very focused tonight! The only problem I had was they wouldn't take my coaches pass! I told them that they took it at the 10th region game, but they didn't seem impressed!

Best of luck to the Cards! It sure has been fun watching this bunch!

Bryan Station is the host of the tournament - even though the first rounds are at the home sites. Let old Hoops Yoda know next year and I can sneak you in the glass doors behind the student section ;) :sssh:

 That is a pet peeve with me. Do Schools have the right to not accept coaches passes? Schools that do not accept coaches passes should be reported to the KHSAA, who in return should fine the schools and tar and feather the AD and principal.:fight:

Tournaments never accept coaching passes.. The 5/3 at Lex Cath - King of the Bluegrass in Louisville - etc. The District and Regional tournaments never accept passes either.

Also - it's not a school decision in this case - the Region host school/district makes those types of decisions.

I know they don't accept passes , years ago they didn't.

Congratulations to the Panthers on their season, good luck in the future to Coach Byars and the rest of the team. Thanks to seniors Eric Smith, Josh Smith, Zed Smith, Antoine Robinson and Cameron Jouett for their dedication and hard work. Go Panthers!

I may be wrong, but in season ending, KHSAA governed tournaments, they must honor Coaching Cards. Christmas Tournaments and such, are not operated by the KHSAA, but rather under their guidelines and NFHS.

Someone can verify, with Julian or Marilyn.

At the gate there was a sign posted saying no passes accepted . This is controlled by the hosting team which is Brian Station.

Scott Co. should be fresh with all of their reserves getting the bulk of playing time in the 2nd Half.

Lex Cath will be just as fresh. They had the same situation with Model.
