The coaching card is by the Kentucky High School Coaches Association. No school has to honor any passes, it is not a KHSAA mandate. And, btw - the region coaches and ADs make the decision at the regional meetings not the host - all decision are based on a vote with each participating school getting one.

 

These schools really do need the cost of everyone's entry. Most districts are no longer able to foot the bill for athletics so they rely on the teams/coaches to fund themselves.
