Still plenty of athletes at Frankfort I look for them to be in the hunt again next year.

Frankfort returns 8 starters on both sides of the ball. It will be hard to replace Robinson, Smith, and Juett. Frankfort must continue to improve and work on the passing game. Should be solid. I think the biggest thing is filling vacanies on the coaching staff. The administration is cutting funds, due to the crisis the school is in.

Best of luck to the Panthers. They have been tough the last two years, and with 8 starters back, they might be something special in 2007.

Panthers will be fine.Speed!Plenty of athletes.

Can anyone give us low down on the so called crisis in the FHS school district.

It is not a so called crisis, it is a real crisis.

At the end of fiscal year 2006 the Bd of Ed. paid an architect fee of 150K+ out of it s general fund. (The money was immediately replaced in fiscal year 2006-2007). When the $$ come out of the fund, it actually put Frankfort in the red. KDE has seized financial control of the district and will at the very least have a strong influence in personell decisions including # of teachers and coaches at all levels.

School Districts, by law, cannot run deficits and must maintain a 2% contingency fund. Frankfort fell short of both of those.

If Foley is creative and parents work hard, they should be able to overcome any cuts in staff through fund-raising support by the booster club.

All Frankfort needs to do to improve is to give the coaches the freedom to coach without worrying about job security related to coaching strategies.

What vacancies exist on the coaching staff? Has that information been made public? I hope the Panthers can overcome any problems that may be forthcoming, good luck for the 2007 season.

With all the skill that the Panthers return and with the new class system look for the class A hardware to come to Frankfort this year. The Panthers are loaded!!!

Tall Trees you might be pushing the buttons a little quick......let them get a few games going before we have them doing anything like that..... besides, there own District will be tough with Trimble.....We will discuss them on down the road though.

You have got to be kidding me? They lost like 2 players and they were one of the best teams in the old class A, with all the big guys gone they have to the favored.

District

There is no way that Trimble athletes can come close to the Panthers. Frankfort could run the 40 down and back before Trimble got to the first line. Let's be real!! All Trimble can done is hope for a muddy field and it will be at Frankfort so I do not see that happening.

Frankfort should just keep doing what they've been doing. Get in the weight room, work hard, and stay focused.
