2007 Frankfort

I agree that the Panthers appear to be loaded...but they need to be very serious about the off-season conditioning program...and tweek the passing game...that QB can be a big-timer and he has wheels...if only he worked on his throwing motion.

:fight: Them's fightin' words, buddy! :fight:

Maybe if the Raiders keep working hard in the weight room they can catch up. They do play with alot of heart. They almost got Frankfort last year. But the Panthers will still have to be favored in Class A.

Frankfort lost alot in our senior class but we will bounce back like we did when we lost Tillman.

All Trimble can done is hope for a muddy field and it will be at Frankfort so I do not see that happening.

This I'll have to agree with...I NEVER played @ Trimble that the field wasn't terrible...

And I never played at Frankfort that I didn't have to kick an extra point into someone's back yard. 'Nuff mudslinging! Literally.

Yes, back to topic. Frankfort will likely be the favorite for the district this year. Their strongest challenger will likely be Trimble County (who only loses 6 players), though 2nd year varsity program Gallatin County could suprise. The other two teams include Eminence and Bracken County.

Frankfort Schedule

Campbellsville 1A

Western Hills 3A

Franklin County 4A

Danville 2A

North Hardin 6A

Garrad County 2A

District games

Trimble Co -

Eminence

Gallitain Co.

Bracken Co

Do you think this will get them PREPARED?

A few tough ones there but not much. Danville franklin county and N. HArding the only real test.

It is not a so called crisis, it is a real crisis.

At the end of fiscal year 2006 the Bd of Ed. paid an architect fee of 150K+ out of it s general fund. (The money was immediately replaced in fiscal year 2006-2007). When the $$ come out of the fund, it actually put Frankfort in the red. KDE has seized financial control of the district and will at the very least have a strong influence in personell decisions including # of teachers and coaches at all levels.

School Districts, by law, cannot run deficits and must maintain a 2% contingency fund. Frankfort fell short of both of those.

If Foley is creative and parents work hard, they should be able to overcome any cuts in staff through fund-raising support by the booster club.

All Frankfort needs to do to improve is to give the coaches the freedom to coach without worrying about job security related to coaching strategies.

Sounds like a consolidation could be in the future...

It's hard for small Class A schools- especially when everything is centered around $$$- kids prep all year around for CATS testing, so the school can get the $.

small schools = other programs will suffer.

I hope the administration will take care of your football program and not let it go to hades....

After reading this thread I have heard a ton, of stuff about the FHS school district, sounds like it is indeed a real crisis, down there, I hope what ever they do they do it out in the open so coaches and kids don't get worked over.

Buckett, How many of those games are home?

FHS+FCHS=Franklin high school academy.(I give em till 2010)

Frankfort was in almost the same shape after the addition to Second Street, that was before KERA where they air your dirty laundry in public. Mr. Wall came in and tightened belts, they are in the process of doing the same. I will be surprised if everything doesn't work out fine with the hiring of a new super that understands the district and its needs. As for next years team I would have to agree with tall trees.

FHS+FCHS=Franklin high school academy.(I give em till 2010)

Although I would hate to see it happen, if the two school districts ever joined, and if it were FHS and FCHS that combined, you better watch out for that team....
