No believe it or not, they still have big #s turning out for the football team. I don't know how big they have gotten or what they are doing up there on the hill... But they still have kids and interest .

I think Bourbon County is trying that this year.

Yes they did (early 80s) and it was probably the worst thing next to taking off their make-up!

Something I have noticed is that Nicholas always has a lot of guys come out for football. I say " a lot" considering the size of the town/county- kid ratio.

In Bourbon County a redneck rides around in big loud straight pipe diesel trucks, they spit dip, drink beer, and they have stickers on their trucks that say, "If it ain't smokin, it must be broken". They also have a really expensive dodge or duramax that they pull in super-stock truck pulls... Great stuff...

I totally agree with their All-State Selection process suggestion. I think letting the clock run is good, if it didn't it makes for a long miserable night for the losing end. I wouldn't mind them doing away with the madatory dead period.

That would be great! The last game of the season we played Raceland got a little exciting. It almost went down to the wire! Nothing like the game the week before that one.
