  1. I consider a "dodger" one who completely by-passes the pursuit of a legitimate route. Ali did not just "run". He stood up for his beliefs, followed the proper routes, and bore the consequences. - However this is American, not a Islamic Country, our country doesn't run under Allah. If you want to be Islamic and live the Islamic law then you should live in a Islamic Country. - A good religion would admonish their people to obey the laws of the land of where they live.
  2. The difference was Cuban Cigars and a one Monica Lewinsky
  3. and let this song that i'm singing be a warning...
  4. only backing you up with you said- nothing to get confused about
  5. From what I have read on KHSAA website-moving in with grandparents is not a bonafide move. They would have to have court ruled custody papers to be legal guardians and there would have to be a reason (a real reason) for someone to take custody of your child... (that is to stay elgible)
  6. thank you... And why would the Romney camp need to stir controversy with Al Sharpton? He just once again got called out on some of the ridiculous stuff he comes up with .... More and more everyday different ones are calling him out- and that is exactly what he needs!
  7. WHy isn't SHarpton questioning Obama's muslim up-bringing? Was it a radical up-bringing? Aren't there questions or concerns about getting to the bottom of knowing that? If you questions ones faith, then you should question all of them
  8. You are using the wrong words to describe their stance that changed in 1978. THey did not find blacks to be inferior. (trust me on this one I have studied this) I have studied the religion and people really misundertand and receive the wrong facts. Some of my best friends are LDS. I can't understand why if a person is Mormon, Catholic, Baptist or ... would matter. I can understand being concerned if the person was athiest- Our country was founded under God. And it is the athiests that were responsible for removing important things like prayer from school- removing "under god" from the pledge, etc... Mormons teachings and basic principals are not radical. That is my point. I am not particullary taking up for Mitt Romney's faith. It is just that why only does his get brought up? Mormon congregations are made up of black, white, hispanic, russians, portugese, etc.. And they are a world wide church, there are no seperate break offs ... It is okay for someone to question the items brought up, but someone has to set the facts straight that there is no segregation in the Mormon Church. They all break bread together. How about saying something like WOW those Mormons are the first people on the scene of disasters, distrubting the goods that their members donate money to for Humanitarian Aid... Wow wouldn't we love to have a President that believes in Charity for all Human Mankind!? Why doesn't that get brought up?
  9. Well that really doesn't make sense. If there is a seperation of church and state, what would the stance on Blacks holding the "priesthood" in their church have to do with the candidate? Romney would be the president of the US - not his Church. Clinton was a baptist, did that stop him from having women in high ranking positions? That statement is ridiculous- They have always had black members- it was a issue of being a priesthood holder. Black people through what they claim is revelation through their prophet received revelation that black people could hold the priesthood in 1978. (read this in Mormon History)
  10. Mormons believe in God doesn't that make them Christians too? I visited their website, lds.org, and they are The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (Mormon is/was a prophet in ancient america that wrote and kept records on gold/brass plates, now known as The Book of Mormon)
  11. I was thinking he Coached (asst) at Henry and that he if from Laurel Co.
  12. Willydidit- pretty much sumed up what was in the Paris paper on Wed. it also stated he was a conditioning/strength coach. I have been told he is very disciplined- and that the guys there are taking to him very well...
  13. I am sure he left Paris for more money... His wife is a Paris native, so had to be more money to move to Mason Co.
  14. Well most of us did, thanks to Just4fun starting this thread... Now it is time for everyone to start arguing over who they picked and who is elite who isn't, who has the most tradition and who doesn't, and so on.... If everyone just poted their rankings and had no opinions or discussions, then this wouldn't be any fun...
  15. Only time will tell... I am not putting all my eggs in their basket... They will keep/control their enrollment to stay in Class A for a long time, especially in our district. Private Schools can control that thing called enrollment. For some of those very reasons I will never pull for a Private School. 5-4 out of their district for the last two years....
  16. I agree- they are in the district that I support, however, I have had a beef with the school system there, so since I had a beef I decided to eat a pork chop. Sorry, but in district play I am not for them, outside the district, it is almost like having to swallow a big pill- tough one there for me to pull for. I'm not hate'n on them- Just not the type of school I could ever see myself supporting. (guess I should take that to another forum?) I don't see them representing what the name of their school is.
  17. He definetely was the man.... I have a lot of respect for him. I have talked to former players/parents from that area, and they all say that he was excellent... There were no messing around in his practices!
  18. No one still can tell me;" What have they done outside their district? What is their W/L record outside their district? Way to early to consider them elite-
  19. Now there is that "roll" I was talking about... I knew they went back to back and were runner up two more years during that time frame... Great tradition- I am jealous that I didn't grow up in Ft. Mitchell, on that fine golf course of homes !!! lol
  20. Take a poll- see what comes to "minds" when you mention Class A Football in KY... No disrespect to Mayfield- They have great tradition and success... Beechwood will always be a top favorite regardless of their record -vs- Mayfield's.
  21. "LCA is good and well coached- but at this point I don't see them being elite. Everyone thinks LCA is in a easy district-so with that being said, what is their winning record out of their district?" Can anyone answer this from an earlier post today?
