McCreary Central 65 Williamsburg 60

Featured Replies

McCreary wins but not in the convincing way many expected, Williamsburg puts a great effort but falls.

Not the way you want to go into the district tournys for either team.

Good effort by the Jackets, a basement team from the 13th gives the Raiders all they want...

Anyone have stats on this game? Score is shocking.

Shows the difference between home sweet home and the hard pavement of the road......McCreary 3-0 verses 13th teams and Williamsburg gives them a game, I am willing to bet the outcome would have been the same but the margin much bigger over the mountain. Good Job Jackets.

Did Watts play for the Raiders? If so how did he do?

The raiders were looking ahead. Jackets good effort, but Raiders did just enough to make sure to get a win.

Pretty surprised at this result. Where's SSF to give us all the details? Are the Raiders looking ahead or are they not putting it together (or was it home cookin')

thought this was supposed to be a blowout? Guess wburg and mccreary are closer in talent than many thought. Good job coach Robinson.

Williamsburg was HOT!

McCreary couldn't hit the side of a barn and only made one three the first half. Consequently, Williamsburg couldn't miss. #10 for Williamsburg played extremely, extremely well. I think you play this game again and McCreary wins by a bigger margin. Williamsburg just played extremely, extremely well.

McCreary seems to have struggled down the stretch. Especially since they beat LC. They have struggled against some very average teams.

What is the difference in their play as of late. SouthernSportsFan, what is going on?

Shooting too many threes and a couple of players are trying to do more than they usually do. They will have it turned around before district play, I can almost guarantee it.

They beat a very good Cumberland and Somerset team. They aren't playing as well as earlier, but they are doing just enough to win the game. I think playing through this bad stretch and still being able to win, can only help them come next week.

Looks as McCreary get up to play the good teams, (Somerset,Cumberland, LC), but do just enough to get by against average teams. Must play ever night to get to rupp.

LC has been similar struggles.....

How is the health of Watts an Co.? Are they healthy? Haven't seen him in some time but can remember him as being sturdy built. What is his height now? Kid seems to be some kind of a scorer. Hope they make it to Rupp, it would be good exposure for them. Good luck to the Raiders.
