Nice effort from LC. Dominated the line of scrimmage. Carrier rush for 227 and 4 td's. Outgained the Golden Lions by himself.

GCHS, SL's best player has been out most of the year. He killed LC, had 308 yards rushing. No answer for him. LC also got inside the 2 yard line twice, and failed to score a TD. The rb (Vaughn) is the best rb I've seen this year. Great athlete.

Yes, they lost on a half back pass Hail Mary to Rock 5 or 6 years ago.

Great effort from Lincoln County. Trailed 26-7 in the 2nd half. Came all the way back to lead 27-26 late in the 4th. Rock scored with :23 (on 4th down and goal) seconds left to win the game.

Danville has struggled because they haven't had the same amount of big time talent as they did for a while. It has nothing to do with Harp or BC in my opinion.

Harp is one the all-time greats. He has had a remarkable career.

The qb is a good running qb. The team was forced to throw the ball too much last year because they would get behind early. That being said, the passing game was putrid. The team really needs drastic improvement EVERYWHERE. The running game should be solid this season.

Great game, very close until the end. LC actually had a 6pt lead with 6 minutes to play. RC played great down the stretch. Congrats to the Lady Rockets. Congrats to Don Story too, you've been an asset to Lincoln County for years.

Unreal, I can't believe McCreary failed to win the region yet again. It's a shame a player as good of Watts never got the shot to play at Rupp. This has to be a devestating loss to the heavily favored Raiders.

Tough opening draw for the Pats. But, the region goes through Casey and Rock. You got to beat them both to win the region. The 12th region is pretty deep this year. Gonna be tough teams no matter who you play.

45th District Championship final from Danville High School. Great effort from Garrard County, close game for the first 3 quarters. LC went on a 12-0 run late in the 3rd quarter into the 4th quarter to pull away. This is LC's 3rd straight championship.

The foul on the fastbreak was a foul, but on another player. Hill wasn't within 4 ft of the kid that got fouled. The moving screen was a horrible call. He didn't even clip the Danville player, much less move. The 4th foul was a clean block. He blocked it off the backboard, he was straight up in he air. The first foul was legit, and the one they missed (#5 you called it) was a foul IMO. Of course LC is different with a kid averaging 19pts and 10 boards on the bench.:idunno: Nevertheless, Danville was the better team last night.

You're exactly right, that coin flip was huge. Of course, we've said that all season. LC's got a lot of young talent. Next year will be ok, Hill should have a huge year. The younger Hill will be a player too. The next three seasons they should be a contender.

I can't see anyone giving McCreary a game throughout the entire tourney. Hope Watts gets his shot at shining at Rupp this year.

Hard to beat a team three times... Danville had a great gameplan, slow the tempo down and sit back in the 2/3 zone. LC couldn't make shots. Wide open miss after miss. LC shot 25% from the floor, and it had little to do with defense. Smart strategy by Danville. LC fell in love with the trey, and it killed them. The refs didn't help matters. LC's best player, Zack Hill, was whistled for two fouls in the first minute and a half of the game. Jackson tried to bring him back in the 2nd quarter, he got a moving screen called on him within 30 seconds. 3 fouls in less than 2 minutes. Totally took LC out of the game. Hill didn't start the second half, and quickly received his 4th foul when he came in half way through the 3rd. The best part, the same ref called on four fouls on him. The best part, only one of the calls was correct. He should of had one foul. I'm not one to blame the refs, but this kid who called all four obviously had something against Hill and it totally changed the game. Not saying Danville won because of it, but it sure didn't hurt. Still proud of the Pats, 16-10 on a "down year" ain't bad. They have a lot of young talent, and Hill returning next year. The future is bright.

They have a few lineman back, qb, two leading rushers, etc. They played a lot of young kids last year.

LC needs numbers. They need more players, plain and simple. 20 something kids dressing varsity for a 5a school is not enough. The numbers are up with the young kids (middle school), so hopefully they'll stick with and play high school too.

Huge news for BC. It's gonna be tough beating the Ads for a third time for LC. Especially on their home court. I assume the Reb's won the coin flip? Or did they not use both the West Jess and Mercer games as the tie-breakers?

As far as I know the 45th isn't set yet. Boyle and LC tied for the 1 seed.

W/L vs. common opponents in common venues. I was told that West Jess. and Mercer were the two that count. LC beat WJ and loss to Mercer. BC beat Mercer and loss to WJ. So, if this is correct, it all comes down to tomorrow night. If LC pulls it out, it will be a coin flip. I think this is correct...
