Huge news for BC. It's gonna be tough beating the Ads for a third time for LC. Especially on their home court.

 

I assume the Reb's won the coin flip? Or did they not use both the West Jess and Mercer games as the tie-breakers?

I don't know for sure and it'll likely be Tuesday before I find out, but I know the poster in the other thread said that the West Jessamine game didn't count because it was a tourney game. I don't know how true that is. I was told at the Mercer game that their district decided before the season they'd use a coin to break the tie. I am unsure how the 4th handled tie breakers, but I'll post it as soon as I find out.

Coin flip gives Boyle boys No. 1 seed

 

Because Lincoln County’s boys defeated West Jessamine in a holiday tournament and Boyle defeated Mercer County, the two teams were forced to flip a coin after finishing with identical 5-1 district records.

 

Boyle won the coin toss, the number one seed and a first-round bye for the tournament that begins Feb. 22nd.

The story in the Danville paper was wrong (again)....the game in which Lincoln County beat West Jessamine was a regular season Tuesday night game. The paper also had the wrong times for the 45th District girls games.

It's going to be tough for Lincoln to beat Danville three times...

I was wondering. West Jessamine beat us in their tourney in December.
