The thread title is what the KHSAA website shows. I'm guessing its wrong, but can anyone confirm what the score really was?

Why don't these two schools consolidate? Together they could have some nice teams. Apart - they aren't much.

There's a whole lot more that goes into school consolidation besides having a good team.

Yes, there is, but a lot of the time - athletic competitiveness is pretty close to the top of the list.

Academics rules that list, along with higher pay for teachers, more elective classes, possible larger class sizes, and transportation.

I highly doubt Paris and Bourbon will consolidate anytime soon.

Both schools are well below their previous talent levels. No need to consolidate at this point, PHS has alot to offer in terms of academics. I do know that something will have to change now that the district is different from years past. It doesn't seem to be much early development of young players or AAu teams to improve the talent. I do know that the talent is still there, it will take something different to bring the interest back. Currently its not happening.

There is some ability at Paris. They could be a very good team, they do have some athletes.
