Wish this game was in NKY, should be a good one. It's hard to go against Bwood but I think Frankfort will give them all they want. I would not be one bit suprised if the Panthers were victorious.

The Panthers advance to Louisville.

The Panthers advance to Louisville.

So soon?

Don't look past Beechwood Frankfort, you beat a good Mayfield team, not a great Mayfield team. This will be the state championship IMO, we'll see how Beechwood handles all that speed.

This should be the 1A state game!!

This should be the 1A state game!!

I will be rooting for B'wood because I love N.ky High School football and the last four years of great games against our team. Frankfort has scared me all year. If they beat beechwood then of course they deserve a Title, I just think B'wood finds a way to win. Just like the Breds they have lots of talent. Good Luck Red and White Tigers

Beechwood is also a very sound team, they execute the fundamentals of the game very well.

They have the reputation of taking teams that think they are very good, and take them apart.

FHS be prepared...

I look for this be a very good game.

I am pulling for FHS.

However whoever wins, will have to face Hazard or LCA.

IMO- won't be easy win there either.

This is going to be a classic, quick offense against one of the stingiest"Ds" in the state. Coach Rash needs to find a way to contain the speedy recievers and backs. we have seen it before and handled it. Passing must be on target all night, high percentage slants and screens will work, throwing one up and let someone run under wont, too much speed. Our running backs, Tiepel, Bankamper, Davis and the newest star Ryan Amelung, will grind it out as usual. Beech wood needs to be prepared to keep up instaed of catch up. The Beechwood OC, Hergot? called his best game of the year, finaly let the boys play the game that they are capable of.

Playing in NoKY, Beechwood has not seen many teams with good team speed, :sssh: it could be a real challange for them.

Go Tigers!

Having seen them both play this year, I think the Panthers team speed may be too much to handle for the Beechies. But I do like Beechwoods toughness, and grind it out mentality. Too bad this game is not for the title, because it should be a great game. See you there in Frankfort....

Good luck to both teams!!:thumb:

Frankfort 27

Beechwood 21

Frankfort has been knocking on the door for a few years now and it's their turn.

Good luck Beechwood . Win the next 2 weeks and then bring the 1A title back to NKY again!!

I'll have to go with Frankfort in this one. It should be a great game. We will be there. Go Panthers!

Fields has his signature game, too much travel for Beechwood. Frankfort wins and moves on.
