What does Frankfort's passing game look like? From the most recent stats (10/30, 9 games) that I could find, Fields had attempted 31 passes and completed 12 for 3 TD's. Are the stats incorrect or is FHS that heavily slanted toward the running game?

Fields has his signature game, too much travel for Beechwood. Frankfort wins and moves on.

To much travel, they are not playing in Germany (Frankfurt). Im confused. Im sure Beechwood will have a bus with some nice cushy seats to sit on. Better come up with a better one than that. N.Ky teams seem to travel quite a bit this time of year. Beechwood has made I few if I remember correctly. If Frankfort beats Beechwood it will be because they are very talented.

Strong running game with 5 or so skilled kids that can take it to the house on any play. This is not just an EJ Fields team. Speed everywhere.:thumb:

Beechwood by at least three TD's. It will be good at first, but I will take the Beechies overall experiance in games like these over Frankfort. Yes Frankfort is good and fast, but I just do not see Beechwood losing again.

Beechwood is also a very sound team.

They have the reputation of taking teams that think they are very good, and take them apart.

 

They did that to LCA back in 2004.

 

The next year a very confident, dominant Beechwood team came to LCA, and had their hats handed to them.

 

Hard to say which Beechwood team will show up in Frankfort.

I think Beechwood will have the tools Mayfield lacked to contain Frankfort's speed. If Frankfort was not so 1 dimensional I would go with them. Beechwood looks to have the best linemen in the class and if they control the line of scrimmage then all the speed in the world will not help. Frankfort won the battles in the trenches against Mayfield much of the night but I don't think Mayfield was near the quality up front of Beechwood. Anyway, Frankfort and Beechwood appear to be the best 2 in the class and this will decide who is the heavy favorite to win the title.

Playing in NoKY, Beechwood has not seen many teams with good team speed, :sssh: it could be a real challange for them.

I'd say that New Cath and Highlands have some pretty above average speed.

Mayfield had success running right at Frankfort but didnt stay with that gameplan. I think the Panthers will make there share of big plays but if the Beechies don't put themselves in a hole early, like Mayfield did and controls the clock, they'll be right there in the end. I'm going to go with the speedy Frankfort team in a very hard fought game...28-24

I'm not even going to act like Frankfort isn't one dimensional as far as running vs. passing goes, but Frankfort did score on a passing play against Mayfield. Maybe with Frankfort's speed it's more of a forward handoff for a rushing touchdown.

 

I'm going to go with Frankfort, because I believe those boys have the talent and the focus and the coaches can gameplan. Hooray for homefield advantage. A lot of people have been saying nobody in Class A can play with Beechwood. Haven't seen them play yet. Come Friday, I'll find out what all the talk is about. Ought to be a great game.

I say that Beechwood beats Frankfort by a touchdown at most, this game will be close throughout and I think the team that has the ball last will win but I think Beechwood's experience playing in big games will help them prevail! Good Luck to both teams!

If Frankforts offense isn't on the field, it doesn't matter how much speed they have. Beechwood's line will be fine and their offense will control the tempo of the game. If this game does not have the same ref crew as they had last night, they could be OK. Don't know the stats from last night but I would bet that Beechwood had more yds in penalties than LHC had in total offense. They do need to cut down on soooo many dumb mistakes.

This should be a barn burner but I will go w/Beechwood.
