I suspect that Larimore's poor pitching performance may have been due to the fact that he hasn't pitched since an April 9th varsity win against Bellevue. After the win, he developed an inflamed elbow and had to be shutdown from throwing for a good chunk of the season.

I have a slightly off thread but related question. What number determines the class divisions: number of students or number of boys? Also, what are the number cutoffs for each of the classes.

The P-burg comparison is probably valid. However, New Cath has a completely different offensive philosophy. New Cath has approximately 2100 yds passing and 1600 yds rushing. Kues is a very deceptive QB who can flat out pass the ball while also having 9 rushing TD's. Couple Kues with some very aggressive receivers and New Cath becomes a team that is difficult to defend against.

What does Frankfort's passing game look like? From the most recent stats (10/30, 9 games) that I could find, Fields had attempted 31 passes and completed 12 for 3 TD's. Are the stats incorrect or is FHS that heavily slanted toward the running game?

IMO any upper level KY team with good coaching could beat Hoover. They look a bit over rated to me this year. Poor coaching blew the game for them against Colerain. With the game tied, the ball on about the 5 yd line, and about 8 sec left in the game; they ran a running play in which the running back ran long enough to run out the clock. A simple center the ball play and FG kick would have sent them home winners. Real football teams are not on MTV, too much Hollywood and not enough smashmouth football for my taste.

21 - 7 Moeller. Trinity had several turnovers which were drive killers. Moeller ran the ball well. The Moeller 1st string RB looked fast, but he had a ankle injury which resulted in him sitting out the second half. Moeller QB was their 2nd stringer, I believe that the starting QB broke his ankle last week.
