I have heard the rosters will be announced sometime this week.

You could tell Woodford was coached by a first year guy as Hundley did not look comfortable by any means at the end of the game. Flyers continue their winning streak against district opponents.

Franklin County really benefits from this game. In the past 10 years or so, the Flyers cannot get over the 2nd round hump game as they are always pitted with Boyle, Lex. Cath or Highlands. This new district is one the Flyers can win every year especially with their young talent. I am pleased as a Flyer fan.

I would not use these two score as a comparison because Franklin County played without 3 of its best players. Timmons is their offensive star and is one of the best Sophomores in the state. Wesley Watkins is their best defensive lineman and is their Left Tackle in the pass heavy offense; he is the team's senior leader. Chris Roberts, a very talented freshman running back, was also out tonight due to injury so for you to compare these scores as a determinant of Holmes being able to compete with the top dogs in 4A is a misconception. The Flyers will get the 2 seed in the district especially if these kids get back to being healthy.

Huge district game for both teams. It will be interesting to see who the Flyers have this Friday because I know Timmons and Roberts were hurt against Woodford early and they had to go to the throw the ball up to William Bell strategy. I would love to see the Flyers start 1-0 in district play, but Holmes is a very good football team. It will be a good football game.

Just got word that Wesley Watkins will not be in uniform for the Flyers Friday night. Doctors told him today that it is a torn MCL of a Grade 3. He will miss 4-7 weeks, but goes for an MRI on Thursday. The Flyer family is praying for good news Wesley. I hate to see this happen to a kid like this especially his Senior year.

Anxious to see how this one plays out with Tracy going to play his old team in Woodford County.

Word has it #58 Watkins tore his MCL in the waning moments of the game, hate to hear this happen to the Senior lineman. My prayers are with him.
