Game was one in the trenches. Not a lot of Spread stuff. FCHS just pounded it inside with #17, #11 and #20.

First hats off to both teams on a good defensive battle. Both teams played hard and clean.

 

As for FCHS being back, depends on what you are talking about. I think Coach Tracy will tell you they are ways from being as good as they can be. People think I joking, they have the talent to be special.

 

As for FHS they need to find a way to move the football. Third straight poor performance on the offensive side of the football. Although nice drive after half.

 

Now that this game is out of the way both teams can folks on being ready for November.

Last 2 minutes came down to kids needing to make plays. FCHS made plays at the right time. A lot had to do with fatigue of FHS playing about 15 kids. Depth is always an issue. FHS had one time out (because they had to waste others through out the second half.) Credit goes to FCHS for running the football and controling the Line of Scrimmage.

Comes a point in time when kids have to make plays I agree with Coach B, both teams I think struggled on offense, but both defenses were good at times. Hats off to both teams not as physical as a few of these games I seen.

Young Brother Hip Hop, no coach/player gave up during the last 2 minutes....YOU must understand that the Panthers had just stopped the Flyers on 4th down conversion, and gave the ball back to the Flyers due to extremely poor decision making with less than 2 minutes to go,and trying to hold on to 1 T.O.......As I said earlier, this is a great game for the community, and it prepares the Panthers for a 1A post season run....Prior to making broad comments, you have to Analyze the situation from a Coaches point of view.....This aint Playstation or X-Box, it's Reality.....Congratulations to the Flyers.....

Sorry about about that didn't mean to step on anyone's toes just making a opinionated statement from a coaches point of view. Your right this game will get the Panthers ready for the playoffs.:thumb:
