Wesley Watkins, DT, 6 ft 3 in, 5.2 40 time, 290 bench press, 435 squat, 4.0 GPA at Franklin County High School. Has a great motor and continues to get better day by day. He is a very intriguing prospect.

If your basing it on the coach and his experience with the players, Vance Hall would be a number one choice. He had 30 points on both Listerman and Drury so IMO being a 9th region player is not putting them heads above the others.

Stonebraker is a heckuva a hire for Woodford. He always seems to overachieve wherever he is. He did a great job this past year with the Centre wideouts and is a man who loves the game of football. Good luck to Coach Stonebraker.

Listerman from Covington Catholic is the Head Coach and Drury from Anderson County is the asst. coach.

The West squad was Regions 1-8 and the East Squad was 9-16. Hall was defintely the best player on the floor in this game with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Gibbs is very athletic. Polson showed he has great talent and Aaron Watts shot the 3 ball very well.

I have heard Jerome Givens is a possibility.

Are you speaking of Keith Heady? He is a great basketball coach and was a great find for Coach Kelley.

I just wanted to tip my hat off to Andrea Howard, Chelsea Craig and Shakiyla Collins-Wilson. These three have put so much into this program and have helped turn it around under Coach Thacker. Craig and Howard have been with the program for a while and were the cornerstones of the basketball team for the past few seasons. You all have set the foundation for Lady Flyer basketball in years to come. I cannot thank you all enough and I could not be prouder of a group of girls. I hope you all continue your success at the next level and I hope to see you all back to watch the foundation you layed play more games. Thanks again for all the memories. You all will be always remembered.:clap:

They won the game, the referee made a huge mistake and ended FC's season. Most of the seniors will never play basketball again. I am not understanding your argument. Franklin County WON the game in regulation on a last second play. I am confused by your antics:idunno:

Vance you'll go down as one of the best in FC history.

There is not a more deserving player for this. Vance is such a good kid and has represented Franklin County to the best of his ability. He is such a talented young man and has a great future ahead of him.

Lady Flyers are in the Regional Semi-Final for the second straight year. Thacker is doing a great job with this program. Hope the Lady Flyers continue to roll.

I like a Franklin County vs. Scott County championship.

Franklin County could not have asked for a better draw. The Flyers may get a chance at redemption in the semifinals if they and Lafayette win out. Lafayette ended the Flyers regional title hopes with a huge upset last year. Go Flyers!!!

How many does the Frankfort Convention Center seat? I know they have Christmas tournaments, host the 41st district tournament, state wrestling tournament and have college conference tournaments.

Ballard vs Eastern is the best 1st Round Region game you are going to find.

I cannot believe you did not mention Franklin County among teams in the 8th Region. They have the majority of their team returning with Saligumba at No.1 and Amato at No.2. They also have the defending regional doubles team returning in Steitz and Robb. Cannot believe you did not give Franklin County a chance. Coach Terry Johnson is one of the best high school tennis coaches around.

Lady Flyers by 20. Thacker has these ladies ready to make a run at the 11th Region Title.
