Madison Central 59 Madison Southern 45

I am very suprised to see this school. Hats off to Coach Feldhaus and the young Indians. Big win for regional seeding.

Bad week for many people's sleeper choice in the 11th Region. Southern barely beat a bad Model team and then lose big to one of the weakest Central teams in years. Eagles might not be ready for primetime.

Wow did not expect this. Congrats to Feldhaus and the Indians on pulling this win off.

I know that's not one of the strongest district in the state but that is still very impressive to win 15 in a row. Congrats to Madison Central.

They still are a team many may not want to face in the regional tournament. They actually beat a good Model team (16-9) and a Central team that faced some tough competition this year and was tournament ready. Don't count them out just yet.

RICHMOND — After suffering a loss in the first game of the season to their cross-county rivals, the Indians knew they had some work to do.

They got revenge when the stakes were really high, rolling past Madison Southern, 59-45, Friday in the 44th District Tournament title game at McBrayer Arena.

He is a big reason my son was so successful at Union College.

I will always remember the fact that he drove from Bowling Green where his wife had her team at a cheerleading competition to Barbourville to attend my son's senior night game at Union.

You should go check out the schedule they played to get that record.

Are you referring to Model's record? Who do you expect them to play, they have about 80 boys in the high school. I watched them several times this year, and they are one of the best Model teams I've seen in a very long time. I think they proved that against Southern in their district game.
