He walked away from reporters against Pendleton as well. It just doesn't make sense. Aaron Stepp is not the right guy for FC. There was a bunch of questions concerning his one year stay at Harrison and Franklin County fans are now hoping he has another one year stay.

I agree completly jvdfc. The asst. coaches went through more than they should have. Stepp just has no respect for them. He shows no emotion for the players. He skipped out on numerous events instead sending an asst. coach such as the Bob Allen Pigskin Classic Banquet. He cancelled June workouts so he could find himself a house in Frankfort. No commitment on his part whatsoever. It is bad over on the east side of Frankfort. AD Spickard and Principal Collett really need to evaulate where the program is headed with him and what kind of example he is setting for these kids. I completly agree with giving coaches time, but not this one. In giving coach more time, they have to put the effort forth and Stepp is not doing this.

Thats a good question. I hope they re-evaluate the situation. The kids deserve a head coach who is going to put his all into it.

It will take more than you think. The kids do not want to fight and scrap for a coach who shows no emotion. I am anxious to see how many kids come back and play next year. I sure hope things get better on the east side, but unfortunately I think they need to find someone else to lead the troops. I am never one to get ask to rid of a coach after one season. I am a huge Louisville fan and never once talked about firing Kragthorpe. You give a coach a chance, but Stepp is a completely different situation.

Yet another shutout by Dennis Ledford's "D". I hope Henry can keep this rolling. Coach Engstrand has really turned it around in New Castle.

The grumblings are already beginning on the east side. I saw and talked to many die-hard Flyer fans who have been through Dearborn,Roberts,Walker, Ledford and Stepp, who said Stepp is by far the worst coach they have seen. I have never seen so many older FC fans leave a game. The players just aren't motivated by the emotionless Aaron Stepp. I want to thank Jeremy Gardner and Franklin Goins for everything they have done for the FC program. I have watched Gardner grow up from the youth league until now and it has been a great ride. #3 you are the defintion of Flyer football. The Flyers will be searching for another leader and maybe even a new coach.

Believe me the Flyers will have more than 2 Friday. I know for a fact that Timmons, Watkins, Lackey, Williams and the boys will be ready. They know how tough it has been for Gardner and Goins as well as the other seniors to have a one win season. The underclassmen want more than anything to send these seniors off with a win.

I know the hunger and will to win is in Gardner and Goins' hearts. Today marks their last football practice of their high school football career and you know that gets the blood flowing. I am looking for my Flyers to pull the upset tomorrow night on the West side. I know the young guys want to send the seniors off with a win.

Bryce Burton should be mentioned as one of the top players in the state of Kentucky. Coach Zac Donnelly has turned this program into a contender and is doing a fantastic job.

Ryan Timmons is the only player Franklin County has that will play basketball so I do not think basketball will be a problem Coach B. I hope my Flyers can send #3 and #84 out with a victory over their cross-town rival. Stepp needs this win badly as it can give the kids something to build off of going into the off-season. Could not be happier for D-Coordinator Dennis Ledford. He had such a tough year last year and continues to prove he can coach with the best of them. We miss you in the Capital City!! Go get 'em next week Henry.

Yes, Stepp showed no sympathy for his seniors tonight. He talked to them for maybe a minute as a team, but seemed more focused with talking and hugging Harrison's players. He was outcoached again tonight. Is Coach Rob back? It sure does feel like it jvdfc.

Where is the Danville game going to be played, at sower field or admiral stadium?

I did not see this one coming. I though Bourbon's big line and Barnes speed would do Pendleton in. I thought wrong. Congrats to Coach Teegarden. Going from 0-10 to 3rd seed in the playoffs is a great turnaround.

Anderson seems to be fading as of late with a close call against South Oldham last week and a lost to Oldham this week. I expect Coach Peach and Jacob Russell to come back firing these next couple weeks. I wish both teams the best of luck for the remainder of the season.

Once again, Aaron Stepp is outcoached. I want to thank #3 Jeremy Gardner and #84 Franklin Goins for all the memories. The two have stuck it out all 4 years through the highs and lows. Unfortunately for them the biggest of the lows came their senior year. This team is Jeremy Gardner's team and he has done nothing, but set an example for the underclassmen and has showed the Junior class what a Senior is supposed to do. Thanks again #3 and #84. Don't let one season define what you have done for this program.

Coach Donnelly's Flyers win the region for the first time in almost 20 years I believe. Congratulations and know that the whole city of Frankfort is behind you guys. With McKee and Jones back anything can happen. I love watching Burton play. In my mind he is one of the top players in the state of Kentucky. Keep it rolling FC....:dancingpa

In Boys 13th Region Action, Franklin County will play Woodford County Thursday night for the region championship. This is a rematch of the district championship, which was one of the best games I have ever watched with Franklin County winning 2-1 by the golden goal.

I would add Franklin County to the mix with Thompson on the mound and a bunch of returners.

My prayers go out to the WHHS basketball family, Coach Welch and his family.

I have not heard this and would be very suprised if this holds true. This is Franklin County's senior night. The seniors have two games left in their high school careers and especially with Gardner and Goins, I would hate to see it cut short since they did not make the playoffs. I know Franklin County's boosters have senior night all plannned out. I really hope this is not true. If anyone hear's anything please let me know.

I am taking the Flyers in this one by a touchdown. Gardner will not let his last two games go without putting up a valiant effort. Stepp is not a motivator by any means, but Gardner does it for this team.
