Boyle in the Bob Allen Classic at Danville High School.

Timmons really displayed his big play ability last night. Was worried about the Flyers new 3-3-5 Defense in the 1st half, but it looked much better in the 2nd. Excited to see what FC looks like in the regular season.

Franklin County got new home/away jerseys. They are as nice of a uniform as I have seen at the high school level.

They have a shot at beating any team on their schedule outside of Boyle County.

He was at FC's 7v7 vs West Jessamine last week at Frankin County, I don't know if anything has changed though. On another note, the middle school feeder for EMS had 41 kids out today for a meeting.

I am hearing that he is staying on. If he stays on, that shows that Denny Ledford is nothing, but a class act.

I cannot believe they did not hire Ledford. Twice they have passed on the right man for the job. I wish Ledford the best of luck in whatever he chooses to do.

Who takes over at Henry County?

Jackson was frustrated with limited playing time.

Pittman honestly outplayed Thomas. Epley is the biggest suprise to me is he kept Thomas in check the majority of the game. It was really nice to see Evans and Watts come out and play very well. Would have loved to have seen Sewell play tonight, but could not due to team violation. Thomas Jackson left the team after the game tonight. The one thing I noticed tonight was towards the end of the game when Johnson is bringing the ball up out of control, Justice stayed away from the ball. He is our Mr.Basketball PG, he has to go and get the ball. If he goes and gets the ball right there KY pulls the upset. I look to see Vance Hall play some PG tomorrow with the loss of Jackson so look for Hall to backup Justice tomorrow. Beating IND in IND is going to be tough, but I could not be any prouder of this KY squad. Way to make us proud, but now try and win this next one. Play smart down the stretch and make big plays in the closing minutes.

Pittman unlaced his shoes at one point during the game because Listerman sat him due to foul trouble. When Listerman came back to put him in, he was slow to get up and had to lace his shoes back up and just played lazy basketball the rest of the game. When he fouled out, he unlaced and even took off his shoes going to the team huddle in only his socks. I was very impressed with Behanan as he was the best player on the floor as he can do it all. I was very disappointed in Knipp's play as he played very lazy and did not look like he was trying at all. As for the Seniors, Justice was the best player on the floor for them. Epley was a nice suprise as he played well. Listerman plays a few guys a little too much in my opinion, hint Barnhill and Pittman. Pittman pouts way too much and is a liablity when he does that. Would like to see Hall and Evans play more in the series as they played well today. Sewell looks rusty after coming off his surgery. Hope the KY team can keep it somewhat close on Friday. Go KY!

This will be a nice deal for Vance Hall as he gets to play in front of the home crowd one last time. I know the Senior All-Stars scrimmaged the Junior All-Stars today with the Juniors winning, but Hall was not in attendance as he still had a final exam this afternoon. Look forward to being at the game. Hope you can make it down goldie.

Which four were invited?

Who all was invited to attend the Football University's Top Gun Football Camp in mid July? This is supposed to be an elite camp. I know Franklin County's Wesley Watkins was invited as a Defensive Tackle and will be in attendance. He is starting to hear from Harvard, Army, Louisville and some MAC schools. He is up to 285 and is benching over 315 lbs. so I look for this camp to help the senior Flyer.

They will need to find a scorer with the loss of JT Riddle and will be lacking in size. I would look to the Barass brothers, Clark and Logan Curry to shoulder the scoring for the Wolverines.

Franklin County senior guard Vance Hall committed to Wright State today to play basketball. Wright State is a Division 1 basketball program that plays in the Horizon League, home of the national runner-up the Butler Bulldogs. Wright State actually lost to Butler in the conference championship game. Congratulations to Vance as he is getting a free education and an opportunity to play college basketball at the highest of levels. Couldn not have happened to a better kid. Good luck Vance.:banana:
