...their man. Out of respect to him and his family, though, I'm not going to name who. I'm sure the hire wants all of those close to him to find out personally. However, I will say that the coach has high school and college coaching experience, and is also a very upstanding individual. Best of luck to the new coach and Woodford County.:thumb:

Any hints?

Then why start a thread if you aren't going to name him?

And ? Sportanalyst$ should know who this is.

...

Is it Stonebreaker?

Winner, winner chicken dinner...

Good for Stoney, Good luck to him and the Woodford County football program

Were there any interviews? Who else was interviewed? This one comes as a shocker to me, but then again I am far removed from Woodford.

Paul Roher was one of the final four.

Congrats to the new coach! What is coach Stonebreakers record at Garrard?

Duane Hammons (D.C at Anderson County the past five years, former Mercer County HC), Paul Roher (current D.C at Woodford), Marty Jaggers (wanting to stay retired from teaching probably did it in for him, but who could blame him) and Steve Stonebreaker.

I don't know much about Roher, but it sounds like Woodford couldn't have gone wrong with either of those men, Stonebreaker must have just seemed to be the best fit? He'll do a good job.

He was 39-40 in 7 years at Garrard. 10-24 in his last 3 years.
