  1. I know 30% is an embarrassingly low number, but I've never seen turnout in a pie-chart. The visualization is striking. How sad.
  2. She's about as personable in her public speaking as the robot turtle, McConnell. I have no idea if those two are alive.
  3. True. He actually was committed to Louisville. Frankfort had serious state championship hopes that season. Lost their star WR in Dwight Tillman before the season started and lost Weaver to an ACL tear in the first game of the season to, you guessed it, Paris. Rule of thumb going forward - don't schedule Paris for the first game of the season.
  4. The only vote that doesn't count is the one that isn't cast. That's my philosophy.
  5. Sen. Toomey Cosponsors Bill Establishing Term Limits For Congress | Pat Toomey | U.S. Senator for Pennsylvania See article above. He has co-sponsored legislation to do so in the past. Republicans could put it on the President's desk now that they have control, but too many of them are career politicians (of which the Speaker and Senate Majority Leader are) so that won't happen.
  6. Forgive my ignorance, but I saw photos of the game and noticed Frankfort played in royal blue and Carolina blue. Have they been wearing these jerseys all season long and is what is the reason for the added blue color and no orange?
  7. I read that he must technically be treated as a first time offender (thus the simple fine the arbitrator concluded was appropriate) since it has been over a year since his last disciplinary fine. That needs to be corrected.
  8. That is probably true. He seems like a soft-spoken guy, but all of this leads me to believe he lacks personal integrity and will do anything to get ahead. His success would come at a price, whether it be cheating, stealing, or just walking over others to get there.
  9. Probably not, but as we see, it wasn't from another player. It's rarely ever an issue with other players. Mostly just this guy (and the Lions center). It happens over and over with this guy, which is why I'm disappointed by the overturning of the suspension. A $70k fine isn't going to mess with this guy. Entire paychecks and playing time might. This is like the 4th time he's tried to hurt someone seemingly intentionally outside the normal course of play while they were defenseless. The guy either needs to be suspended or cut, or he has no reason to change. My question is, would the suspen
  10. Forte also had 46 less rushing attempts than McCoy. The Bears didn't rush much (pass/rush ratio this year was around 2/1, whereas the Eagles' was closer to 2/1.5). As one writer put it, Forte had the receiving yardage production of Jimmy Graham this year, with 1K rushing yards added as a bonus. Forte picked up 1,800 yards from scrimmage on a woefully bad offense.
  11. Technically, the first year of the Six Class Era had Frankfort in District 4, in a region with District 1 and the regional final was played against Mayfield. Beechwood and Frankfort squared off in the Semi-State game in 2007.
  12. Well, they've taken state, but didn't Bryan Station lose a close one to them in the first round last year?
  13. The LCA/Mayfield game could go Mayfield's way. Trinity will beat St. X.
