True. He actually was committed to Louisville. Frankfort had serious state championship hopes that season. Lost their star WR in Dwight Tillman before the season started and lost Weaver to an ACL tear in the first game of the season to, you guessed it, Paris. Rule of thumb going forward - don't schedule Paris for the first game of the season.

Forgive my ignorance, but I saw photos of the game and noticed Frankfort played in royal blue and Carolina blue. Have they been wearing these jerseys all season long and is what is the reason for the added blue color and no orange?
-
Technically, the first year of the Six Class Era had Frankfort in District 4, in a region with District 1 and the regional final was played against Mayfield. Beechwood and Frankfort squared off in the Semi-State game in 2007.

Well, they've taken state, but didn't Bryan Station lose a close one to them in the first round last year?
