doomer Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 What does Franklin county need to do to move up the list? And woodford county should def not be this high First of all, get healthy and get their whole team on the floor again. Then they need to win games against some of the tough upcoming opponents just to solidify staying in the middle of the pack. The region is loaded. Probably the top three are top five in the state, and Dunbar is top 15 and probably better. Then Mad. Central, Henry Clay, Tates Creek all have star power and can play with anyone on a given night. All-in-all there are several middle of the pack region 11 teams who would be in top two in many other regions. I think they need to uphold the Region 11 reputation and beat Shelby Cty., Holmes, Montgomery, Anderson, Dixie Heights, win their last two district games, then compete and learn the 11th region in games against Lafayette, Tates Creek, Madison Central and Scott County. None of this is going to be easy unless they get a lot better.
royal1 Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 I've seen these teams play. 1. Scott. Co. 2. Bryan Station 3. Lex Catholic I can't wait to see the score from when 1 plays 2. Should be a great game!
2sports Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 What does Franklin county need to do to move up the list? And woodford county should def not be this high well i think that woodford should be even higher then what they already are. Woodford Co is getting better an better every game and i dont see Tae Mulder and Travis Swan letting the team go down hill. Plus they have to young guns on the team camren mattingly and Dominic Johnson who are both very good and know how to take over a game.:fight::flame::argue:

They handled them easily at their place a couple weeks ago.
strongopenyon Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 1. Lexington Catholic 2. Bryan Station 3. Scott County 4. Dunbar 5. Henry Clay I feel that Lexington Catholic's height/length will pose a problem for Bryan Station. Bryan Station's Shelvin Mack could carry his team to Rupp Arena with his all-around play. Scott County will have a difficult time getting out of the region due to inferior guard play this year. Should be some great match ups and I am looking forward to the district and regional tournament.
Hard Court Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Bryan Station. They are very deep, super athletic, and very unselfish with a very underrated go-to guy. maybe Mr Basketball. 32 minutes of Hell. They could have a lull, but at this point they are playing awfully well.
UNDERTHEBRIDGE Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 There is no way Scott Co. is in front of Station. They handled them easily at their place a couple weeks ago. I think he made his post before the teams played. And it was only last friday ago.....
