  1. well i think that woodford should be even higher then what they already are. Woodford Co is getting better an better every game and i dont see Tae Mulder and Travis Swan letting the team go down hill. Plus they have to young guns on the team camren mattingly and Dominic Johnson who are both very good and know how to take over a game.:fight::flame::argue:
  2. i agree i think that Lewis was a playmaker but i feel that one person isnt going to slow woodford down at all they have a lot of heart and everyone here at woodford knows that this could be the last game and they are going to play like it so everyone get ready cause this should be a good game
  3. well i owuld say anderson would lose but they dont play any body that is much of a challenge
  4. im going to go with BE on this one they played real good when woodford played them first game of the season. BE is a real good team and if they come to play then im saying BE wins 24-14

    Oregon

I agree good team, fun to watch, offense has much talent. I like Oregon but USC is getting healthy and Oregon always keeps us amused as they find ways to give games away like Cal earlier this year. If the Ducks limit their turnovers they win.
  6. OK Reds Fans is this really about Dusty Baker or is it about the ineptness of the Reds front office over the past several years ? If they won't spend the money, unload the baggage and allow the manager input into the roster what do you expect ?? Until the Reds unload Griffey JR. teach Dunn how not to strike out and give the manager the ability to effect the roster they can't win. Baker's not my favorite and I'm not a Reds fan but unfortunately he will improve the team because his ego says if he doesn't get the power he will move on.
  7. I didn't think Fulmer was allowed in Alabama. Isn't he usually detained at the border?
  8. Would that be the Bazemore-Hyder Stadium in Valdosta GA. ?? It is a super facility. Not as big as some of the Texas Stadiums but a great experience for the football fan.
  9. They are in the Dayton City League. They have won 1 game. They had one close call. All the other games were blowouts. In the game they won they rushed for almost 450 yards, against a very week opponent. In the close game they rushed for 235. This league is down and I have only seen a few clips from this season. They are in Division II which has 4 - 30 plus team regions. They are ranked in the bottom 15 of the 125 or so teams and the bottom 5 of their region #8. For your reference St. X Cincinnati is a Division 1 in OH, and Wheelersburg which Johnson Central played is a Division 5. Ohio rankings say : St X - 23.5 Wheelersburg -9.9 Dayton Belmont-1.3 They have about 900 students.
  10. What a game, zero sacks allowed by the O-line. A great college football game ! And how about the blitz pickup by the freshman Locke. The ride continues for the Cats. If anyone has seen the post game interview with LSU's coach Miles, one could see how the press missed a golden opportunity. Miles was only one pointed question away from a full blown Bobby Knight meltdown. It killed him to give UK credit. If he had only been asked how UK's O-line dominated the supposed best D-line in college football at the most critical times... Miles would have imploded.
  11. In 5A I can't gripe with the top 3, after that I'm not so sure. I think this is definately skewed. I have seen Pulaski County and Lincoln County play, I am glad they are having good seasons but include Anderson County in the mix and all three are ranked too high.
  12. Its been a long wait for the UK fans. My guess is they are probably a top 15 team but #8 is nice ! And be assured we will ride the wave as far as it will take us. At this point we know four things for sure. #1 -Lots of parity in the SEC, and on the national level. Individual matchups are they key. #2-Does anyone think Boston College or USF is a better team then Florida ? I'm not a Gator fan but please ? Florida gave the game away. #3 -Oregon finds more ways to give games away then any team I've ever seen. #4 -USF matches well against WV look at last year this was predictable. Oops I forgot the most important one #5- Louisville was overated last year and again this year just look at the fear on coach K's face as he exposes the defense and plays not to lose instead of playing to win. U of L fans need to let the Uk fans enjoy their moment and take heart in the fact that if the Cards played in the SEC they wouldn't have to worry abut a National Championship, a top 10 ranking or even a top 20. Their biggest worry would be how to stay above .500 in the conference.
  13. Favre plays a million games in a row. Rodgers breaks his foot the first time hes has to replace Favre in a game. He is only there until something better comes along. As for Woodson I hope for his sake its not the Bears, they are quickly getting the reputation as a graveyard for QB's. Beside they won't take him he's too good. Remember they thought Rex Grossman would lead them to the promised land. If I was a Bears fan I would be sick each Sunday waiting to see how bad Rex can mess up a good team. He has managed to be their opponents best weapon each sunday. I agree Woodson will be a top 4 QB selection.
  14. The Herald Leader ratings are so far out in space that no one who has ever seen a football game would take them seriously. Woodford County behind Covington Catholic, Dixie Heights,Johnson Central and now it gets crazy.... Lincoln County??? Lincoln has tons of tradition but only an average team this year. Mercer Co in the top ten ??? Oh well, rank the Yellowjackets low it will keep them hungry !!
  15. Wow, I should take that as an insult but its actually a compliment as I will point out. I actually can discuss Ohio Football, Kentucky Football, even pretty good on good ole Alabama football. I just like football and running a spread offense is easy to say, lots of teams claim to do it, but much harder to actually do. However the key to running an effective spread offense is speed and precision, thats what makes it tough. Wheelersburg doesn't do it well and if you watch them thet really don' t do it at all its just an attempt to spread you out to run the ball. Again they lacked the team speed to effectively run a spread. But I'm sure thats what you were meaning to say, right ? Woodford does it well and the key is team speed. Did you notice they never use a huddle ? On the go from start to finish . Now that we have that out of the way, are there any other questions you need me to answer ??
