I agree with some other people, Shelby Valley should be much higher. They returned a lot of key guys from a very successful team last year which had some huge wins and quality losses including games vs J-town, Elliott (twice) and Mason.

Why is Scott County ahead of Ballard?

Is Pendelton good?

At this point take your pick from the 7th region (Ballard, J-town, Trinity, Seneca, Eastern) and maybe throw in Shelby Valley.

I agree. This is a very good team. They have two stars and a lot of underated players. I like other big guy they have he's pretty good, too.

This will be a top 5 or top 10 team in KY but they do need to improve FT shooting.

Did they get a transfer?

Who is Washington? I haven't heard of him.

I hadn't heard they were getting a transfer. If he is a solid pg that will certainly help.

Holmes is not without loss either. Seven players last year played major mintues and 4 are gone. This includes their floor general and most underrated player (Riley). Holmes will no doubt be in the running for a state title but you can't mention the Card's graduation loss without mentioning the Bulldog's.

Boone County was good last year. How many starters do they return?

I think BG got a big time top 200 player in the nation transfer from out of state.

I thought about putting Holmes above Eastern but didn't for two reasons. 1. I think Holmes will miss pg Riley more than people think 2. Eastern lost to only one team in the regular season last year (J-town) despite playing in the brutal 7th region. Plus, they got revenge agaisnt J-town when it mattered (the region). Also, I didn't hesitate to put Scott County number 1. They are loaded. Their top four guys will be D-1. But I agree that a case could be made to have Holmes ranked 1 or 2.

I think Mason County will be pretty good. I would probably have them somewhere in the top 15 or top 20 to start the season. If you watched the game agaisnt S. Valley at Rupp last year you will see how much Middleton meant to that team. I'm not sure how deep they will be with the losses of Barner and Downing.

I don't know. I was reading some threads saying he is definately going to S. Valley. Other recent threads have him staying at Hazard. I really have no clue but I'm going to assume he is Hazard until I hear for sure he is not.

With Zollo moving to KY to be closer to UK and now him decommiting from the Cats is there any chance he may move again to another school?

The Indians should have a good backfield with QB Seth Dotson, FB Zach Hood, and HB Tyler Murphy. Justin Covey is an experienced WR and Andre McCall is a solid linemen. Dotson, Covey, and Murphy also play DB. What are the big question marks for this team? Depth? Do you think the new power I offense will work? Who are other key returnees?
