  1. Agreed on Madison Central. I didnt look that far into it. I will stick with my opinion on Tates Creek, however. They have the best freshman class in the state and they will develop tremendously in the off season. Just my opinion.
  2. Mean spirited was not my intention, I apoligize.
  3. That is a tough schedule, but not near as tough as most in the 11th. With Scott Co and Catholic playing nationally ranked teams, along with every top team in the state. Also i know that even another mediocre team, LCA, played the number one ranked team 6 times, and something like 12 of their losses came to top 20 teams. Im not saying Franklin co. wont be good, its just a tough place to play in the 11th.
  4. Holmes. I would pick CovCath if it were a home game for them, but at a neutral sight I see the athleticism of holmes prevailing.
  5. Very insightful, Marovich. Any reason why UK hasnt looked at this kid??? I know he played good, not great tonight, but with the season he had I'm really surprised he hasnt gotten a call from Billy G.
  6. Catholic showed why they are #1 tonight. Brian station had an off night and I wish both of these teams could make it to Rupp. I think if they played again it would be a lot closer, if Mack was on his game. Still a great game though, EKU was packed.
  7. I think that Dunbar, Scott Co, LexCath, Henry Clay, Brian Station, LCA, Tates Creek, and Madison Central will all be better than Franklin Co., Franklins Co. ending record might be better, because they do not play the schedules that these teams play, but I think Franklin Co. would lose to all of these teams. In the 11th, middle of the road team at best.
  8. Catholic looked unstoppable tonight. Starters had all the points going into the 4th quarter
  9. Hard game to pick. I take LexCath by 2 in OT. So many great players on the floor, should be a great game to watch!
  10. Great game. I was really impressed by Dunbar, but Mack and Station were just a bit to much to handle.
  11. Stewart had one of the best dunks of the year. Great win for Catholic, should be one heck of a title game.
  12. One is. He is around 6'4 and one of the most relentless rebounders I have seen in a while. The other is a guard, and once he develops his shot will be a top player in the city, IMO. Both very athletic as well, saw them both dunking in warm-ups.
  13. If Hopson decides to play(which, sadly, is questionable) UHA will win hands down. The kid can play, I just hope he gives UK a chance next year!
  14. In Lexington I would say Creek had the best group of Freshman overall, with two freshman starting Varsity. And I know that LexCath had some size in the freshman class. (Two players 6'4+ and still growing) And at LCA, starting point guard Trace Heltons younger brother, Carter Helton, looks very promising. Along with an 8th grader that played freshman ball, Taylor Barnette, who can absolutely shoot lights out. Outside of Lexington Clark Co. had 5 freshman dressing Varsity and two(I think) starting. Looks like a talented class!!!!
  15. Im taking LexCath to represent the 11th. Too much height, talent and experience for Brian Station when it comes down to it. Shame that 4 or 5 teams from this loaded region cant make it to Rupp.
  16. They play a switching man to man the entire game. When i have seen them play they have wanted to slow the game down. Camels want to keep it as low scoring as possible. I have seen both teams play this year and IMO CC wont be able to stop the Clark County run game and dont have the offense to score enough. Clark Co. by 16
  17. 11th region tourney. Best competition in the state. I'd be willing to say they might have 7 or 8 top 25 teams if they didnt have to play each other.
