Final

Big payback win for the Knights from last years semi's. Cant wait for Lexcath and BS to sqaure it off 1vs2.

Catholic jumped on Scott as soon as the ball was thrown up. Scott just couldnt find a flow to their offense. Congrats to Catholic, should be one heck of a 11th region final.

Catholic lead most of the game. Scott made a couple of runs to get it close. 54-50 LC with about 5 minutes to go. Then LC went on a 26-4 run to end the game.

I plan to be there on Tuesday night for what should be a great game. Two contrasting styles of play. Too bad #1 and #2 have to play in a regional final. This would be a great sweet 16 semi or final game.

I think Station wins this, but it could be close until the end. Mack is excellent and a great senior leader. However LC has a great core senior class with Stewart, Novasel, Smart.

Should be fun.

WOW!!! Great win for LC. :thumb:

The score was 54 - 50 in the 4th and Coach Hicks got a technical called on him. The Cardinals were outscored 26 -4 from that point on. Great win for Catholic!!

I don't think that I've ever been to a LexCath/Scott County game in which Billy did NOT get a technical. What really hurt, in my opinion, were the technicals on the Scott County players. Was it just emothion or were they just immulating their mentor?

Or was it frustration from being a step slow in some positions. 26 - 4 run is a serious pounding. Did Scott County not play any defense?

The Hicks Technical was pretty big for the game. 4 point game, Lex Cath ball, dribbling down the court and BAM T'ed up. Not sure what he did or said but believe it or not, it was the quietest he had been all night so I have no clue where the T came from. After that, the Lex Cath onslaught was on and two player techs for extra words didn't help Scott Co.

I watched this game, and Lexington Catholic's role players stepped up BIG TIME!!

On a side note, How about Taylor Stewart's dunk on Phares in the 4th quarter? For a Lex Cath fan it was pretty sweet.
