Dupont Manual 73 Bardstown 58

Jenkins was misquoted. Trust me on this. He sees the doctor again for clearance Monday morning after seeing him already today. Possible return Monday with a definite return for the 5th/3rd. -

Foot injury. Monday could possibly get release. -

Here's a thought. Manual has already defeated Bardstown and North Hardin. Now will play Taylor County (without Jenkins) in the KOB, and will play Adair County first round of the 5th/3rd. If Manual should win all of those games against top 5th region teams does this qualify them for the Sweet 16 in winning the 5th? -

Per J Drum with CP, he was saying Penny struggle all game with his jumper. Any stats? -

I concur with this assessment. The glaring weakness in Bardstown is their depth and lack of ballhandlers. -

Sanford was 7 for 16 from the floor and 14 points. -

This post was done at the wrong time. Manual wins against Bardstown without Jenkins and picks up another top 25 win. Meanwhile Clark County gets hammered. I'd leave it where its at. -

Manual scraps out a win for its 2nd one over a top 25 this season. Excellent win with Jenkins still out. Taylor County up next and a win could put them in the semis Monday, the date set for Jenkins release. Could get interesting. Bardstown is good, but it may be a tough season in the 5th. -

And how much do you think Eastern, Manual, and Jeffersontown would beat Boyd and Morgan County by? -

Everyone has a great opinion. Look forward to watching all the players next year playing big-time D1 basketball. -

Coach Forest is one the best and has got it done consistently. OC will be competitive regardless of the talent level. An excellent post and it is clearer now as to your other post. -

Do we really want to debate who the top shooter in the state is? -

Riley at the point with Jenkins, Hood, and Sanford on the wings and Phares running the baseline gives Kentucky hope against one of the better Indiana recruiting classes in this year's Kentucky-Indiana Allstar games. -

Nice try. -
Sprained ankle and the swelling caused adema (water) around the ankle bone. Returns 100% in 4 to 6 days.
-
Samsel does not get the credit he is due. If Jenkins plays, then Manual remains undefeated and this is not debated.
-
Nikolic played a very good game. He was finishing shots he had struggled with before. He's improving and that's a great sign for the months ahead. But where do you think the majority of the passes were coming from? Samsel helped keep this game in reach.

7 to 10 days.

Manual had talent on the floor and could easily pulled this game out tonight with a few breaks at the end. I guess after the 36-point loss and Jenkins' 38 this summer, Trinity was going all out tonight. Still a very good showing for Manual in this game even if it was just short of winning.
-
Trinity is picked 6th or 7th in the Seventh Region and that is about right. It wasn't a pretty game, but it was hard fought. Harrison has a ways to go yet which is true about any freshman.
-
Out with ankle injury. Manual played a good game and had solid performances by a gutsy point guard in Sean Samsel and also a lift by Tre Jones. Melvin Little was the difference for Trinity.
-
Manual was outrebounded 40 to 24. Western was not tall as they had no one over 6-3 on their starting unit.
-
Jenkins has a sprained-ankle and will return next week. The good news is Manual was not in the tough part of the schedule and had wins against Atherton and Western. The bad news is, Trinity up next and after Manual defeated them in the DS Shootout by 36 with Jenkins' 38 points I would think they are feeling good about Friday night.

Is it fair to say teams in the 7th and 11th would not beat Morgan County by 60 or more?
